  1. Yes, try this before you go any further. Note; use of a 'power' bleeder will not work. Page 7. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/coupe/2008_Coupe+Roadster/CL.pdf
  2. I think you're looking for one of these. http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z-coupe-rear-cargo-area-tray-p-19464.html?cPath=714_881_1238& Picture and description are a bit lacking, but I think it's supposed to be similar to the generic plastic tray that most manufacturers supply as an option. Harder wearing than a carpet, and contains any spillages. Although this Zed one is only designed for the boot area rather than the open area behind the seats, so I don't know how happy you're dog would be stuffed in the boot. May be you could adapt a plastic tray from something else to fit in the forward section.
  3. Correct. There is no pollen filter on the 350Z.
  4. The one man kits don't work with the Nissan caps as it's not a conventional screw fit. You can't get it tight enough to stop the pressure bleeding out. Conventional two man job, remembering that there are eight bleed nipples on the Brembo calipers, and Nissan recommend a multi pump and hold before opening the nipple as opposed to the normal single stroke each time.
  5. How many miles in those two years G man?
  6. There is an additional OEM version that was on the options list that had a brushed aluminium panel along the flat part. You can see them here: http://www.courtesyparts.com/nissan-interior-door-sill-kick-plates-brushed-aluminum-piece-set-350z-p-19412.html?cPath=714_881_1238&
  7. Side indicator lens. Good to go, same/next day I would assume...
  8. You can get aerosol spray paint mixed up at your local paint factor. Just google them in your area and they will have the mix on a database from the Nissan code. If you're desperate for a 'rattle can', you'll have to order it from the good 'ol US of A.
  9. The only socket you would need is to remove the wheel. There's a wrench in the tool kit for changing the spare if you don't have any. Torque to around 110nm if you're fussy, but tight is tight, not worth buying a torque wrench just for that.
  10. Easy DIY job on Brembos, no special tools required. The only "interesting moment" you would have is if you had different pads on the opposite ends of the same axle. Sounds like they are trying to sell a set for the back with 'sales technique'.
  11. The trouble with the gold colour wheels is they can clash with the gold calipers, whereas when sports cars adopt the 'standard' red calipers, people don't tend to fit red wheels, so they stand alone as an accepted feature.
  12. Turn up to that special event completely alone in my one seat taxi... Wonder what he pays for his 'hire or reward' insurance. Be quick though, says his calendar is filling up...
  13. I imagine that's why they moved them forward for the revised 'face lift' interior.

    HR bonnet

The only difference with the bonnet is the hump. But on the 'HR' cars it was required to accommodate the different engine, even though it had a lower centre of gravity.
  15. I found that it may be a 'compatibility view' issue. With it switched on, some of the features don't work but the return button works, and vice versa. So I view with compatibility view off, and write with it on. Only seems to be an issue on this site unfortunately.
  16. That's because dogs have to be licensed, as they are a far higher risk. Nobody, to my knowledge, has ever been mauled to death by a domestic cat.
  17. Thanks for that Russ. Coming from a long line of Italian metal myself, that was epic. Lancia: "Kings of the road, Lords of the forest".
  18. The Op's in the south-west, Abbey itself is closer than TDI.

    991 GT3

Not really clued up on Porsche, so why isn't it a 998? I thought they were going in a sequential style, unlike say, Ferrari, who swap about with displacement figures etc. for their series names. Or did they get to 999 already and are starting again, if they did I need to pay more attention.
  20. Brake fluid every two years, standard Nissan coolant every three years.
  21. Knocker throwing? That's a bit extreme....
  22. I used the 'img' code today, from a pc, and the thumbnail opens a window to my Photobucket page. It shows the pictures okay, but it's not as user friendly as just expanding the photo in situ. I just click on the code and it says 'copied', then paste it here.
  23. I've just read the stickies on uploading pictures etc. but don't have an answer. Bear in mind this isn't my strong point. Question is; I've used the 'IMG' code as recommended by Photobucket for 'forums', and my pictures have loaded as large thumbnails. When you click on them they link back to my Photobucket folder in a new window, whereas I have seen other members photos just expand to a good size, or are already a large size. How can I do this? Is it just a different code from the four that Photobucket offer? Or have I missed something else? Cheers.
  24. I had the same problem some years back as the reflectors were both limited and expensive, so I fabricated something different. Nothing unusual about mesh, but it can look a bit rubbish if it's just slapped across the back of a gap and everything else is visible through the hole. To appear factory original, as I'd had on other cars, it needs to be shaped, and the back needs filling in to hide bright washer bottles etc that show through. I used the original reflector to create the shape for the mesh, then colour coded it to match the front slats. Some matt black plastic recessed in the hole blanks off the gaps. It's not as bright as the camera makes it appear.
