  1. Looks like 24. 'choptop' has added his +1 to his own name, whereas the other +1s have their own numerical listing. Not sure how he counts 26 though.......
  2. If you decide to post it, do not use the recorded service. This just means it requires a signature at the other end. It would travel with all the standard mail and stand the same chance of being lost as anything else, depending on your opinion of Royal Mail. Send it 'Special Delivery' and it is tracked all the way (separate from the other mail) and still requires a signature. If I was Nissan, given that one of my franchises messed up for a valuable customer, I would suggest authorising a stamp at your local dealer and record the event on the database, such that in the unlikely event that someone queries the service history when you sell the car, it has been correctly recorded and authorised. But then I'm not Nissan and pigs might fly Best of luck.
  3. Ok, I'm in. I need the swirls on my black car highlighting so I can add my tears to the watermarks........
  4. Ok, here's mine. Clearly yours is elsewhere as you couldn't really miss that! There's plenty of cable on them too, so it could be anywhere unfortunately. I moved mine slightly to tidy up the cabling, hence the duct tape, which also serves to cover the hole, thereby turning down the noise a touch You can see the impression in the tape where the hole is, right in the middle of the box. Best of luck.
  5. I was convinced that it was coming from the alarm too, it's so loud it makes it difficult to isolate. I only knew for sure when I inadvertantly covered the hole and momentarily muted it, I knew I was on to something then. I'm sure you have looked already, but if you can trace the cables where they come in through the rear it should lead to the module. Bit obvious I know but don't know what else to suggest I've taken a couple of pics of the offending article which may help you i.d it. I'll stick them on shortly.
  6. Yes, I had this problem. I have an uphill reverse around a bend into my garage and by the time I'm done my ears were bleeding. And that's with a sealed boot divider/tonneau. Very easy to fix though, small piece of electrical tape over the hole in the middle of the speaker/module, cuts the volume by 50%. Being a U.K dealer fit I believe, this module may be located in different places, but should be in the boot somewhere! Mine was stuck on the rear panel, near the spare wheel well iirc. Small black box. I've read that the sensitivity can be adjusted by the dealer, no idea if this can be diyed though, sorry.
  7. Also a good idea to tape the motor leads securly to the body. Stops any annoying rattles developing.
  8. There is nothing wrong with your mirrors. The reason the drivers side takes longer is because it travels further. The nearside mirror is set at a closer angle, the whole unit, not just the glass, so it arrives at its 'parked' position before the other one. Of course you could get all OCD about the fact that your mirrors don't line up But you will find that most cars are like that, people just don't notice, until they start timing them, then they still don't notice .
  9. Helps if you have a black car. It's this easy for a few pennies, and reversable come sale time or if you miss that shopping hatchback look......
  10. Our cat does this quite a lot when the missus gets home in her car. Always seems to be around the front end, good old sniff going on, can't say I've noticed him licking it though He's even had a little pee on the grille as well as a tyre or two on occasion. He's neutered, so not really spraying. Must be something pungent caused by the heat of the engine or something. Cute pair you have there though.
  11. Done thanks for that Bronzee. Image attachment not my strong point unfortunately, you don't want to know how long it took me to get that picture on. I'm lovin' these little yellow fellas, so much better than the last forum I was on, bit like the car really.....
  12. Hi Rich, no the original delivery ticket and the service book/warranty certificate list the colour as Black Pearl G41. Whether that is the same colour with a new name when it came out I wouldn't know, but it's the 'official' colour name!
  13. Thanks everyone! And Husky, much appreciated. Didn't want to go in with both barrels being a newcomer in the village. Sarah, hope the new shop is going well, I'm sure I'll pop in soon but I don't need anything I do have a couple of subtle mods to share, all in good time, need to get the camera out again
  14. Hi all, been on for a while and reading longer when I was looking for info before buying. Ended up with a 313 GT in Black Pearl metallic. Only 3k miles old so everything pretty much as it should be, and thankfully nothing needing renewing yet. Just changed fluids and filters from a time perspective (just over two years). Carried out some of the popular tweaks: fog light, bulbs, badges etc, just to my personal taste, probably do for a while as it's in really nice condition and I don't want to risk 'spoiling' it so to speak! On another matter. Do any of you regulars know whats going on with R35LEE? Kept reading everywhere that if you needed anything to try Lee or Alex, well I did. Alex was great but didn't have the part I was after, so I tried Lee. All very matey on the pm's said he would post next day. I paid my money and waited. That was about a month ago and ever since he has not answered any pm's, e-mails (that I used for Paypal) or phone calls to the number he gave me. At first I thought maybe he had gone on holiday and forgotten as he hadn't been on here for a while. But he has been back on since and still no word. Obviously thought I was on safe ground going through the forum so to speak, but it seems all is not well. Wondered if anyone could shed any light on what he's up to as I don't want to get off on the wrong foot.
