  1. I voted T700TYS because it sounded slightly 'saucy'
  2. That, if you don't mind me saying, is the Dope Daddy 5h1t! Very nice indeed
  3. The Audi does nothing for me at all, I'm sure its a great car but just this is what I feel when I see one I love the character of the Mustang and it has bags of it, plus it's excellent value for money. That being said, there has to be a reason for that and I'm guessing (because I don't know) that the quality of finish perhaps does not match its rivals. I don't think I could live with that personally, not when I'm spending £35k. The C63 I think does have some character to it, the 4 litre engine in it is terrific and I like the "One man, one engine" ethos of AMG. All I can go by is my own experience I guess and I've been very impressed by my C55. Its a beguiling drive and the V8 burble / growl is terrific when on song and the engine in mine isn't even supercharged. I guess the usual applies, you need to drive them to really know which one you want. Put it this way, if you were in a room with all of them right now and you had the money in your hand - you would know within moments which one you'd be leaving in. For me, for the quality, I would go C63. If I needed another car with character and a bit of show / a laugh, I'd consider the Mustang....then probably buy the Merc anyway
  4. The Berks HFC's have been one of the best mods I've done for my Zed (thanks to SMD and Will )
  5. Every time I look at the pictures of the finished finished article Darren it puts a smile on my face. You really have done a truly magnificent job. I take my hat off to you
  6. Sounds like you guys had a great time, fantastic birthday treat for Bob. Safe journey home guys
  7. Great news Russ, a tough year for you I'm sure. Now you can get out and start enjoy your driving again
  8. I'm going to be the next presenter of Top Gear
  9. Regards female presenters, which seems to be an issue for some. I'm sure they will choose someone who they think will work and gel well. Jodie Kidd can certainly drive, her presenting skills will improve. She has seemed very natural on other programmes I've watched her in. Or it may be someone more experienced, VBH or Penny Mallory. Would be amazing if it was Louise Aitken-Walker or someone of the calibre of Michèle Mouton! Although she probably has better things to do with her time, like being retired
  10. As much as I love F1, I think it would have to be WEC. Or as Will's said, a classic run like the Mille Miglia. I have for a number of years been very tempted to get a 2CV and enter the 24Hr endurance race http://www.2cvracing.org.uk/
  11. Shame to see the trouble you're having Adrian, hope you get some support from the warranty guys and you can get things resolved.
  12. Ian, defo go with option A, but if you really want to add a postive impact, add a cheeky wink as well It'll give them the "'I'm playing the field, but it could be your lucky day Toots, if you know what I mean ....." kind of feel
  13. Very nice, a really great wagon. Which engineer built your engine? The one on my C55 was built by Torsten Wessel.
  14. Fantastic reaction, a very Happy Birthday indeed Bob. I really hope you guys have a fantastic time at the Ring!
  15. Happy birthday to you Dave, wishing you all the best
  16. A very happy birthday to you Bob, have a fantastic day
  17. Mmmm, going to have to increase my tyre budget as of tomorrow : (
  18. I'm going to ask for a forum name change, Buckaroo is much better  Excellent prizes, I'm well chuffed. Hope I can get my T-Shirt in "Ultimate Behemoth" size
  19. Well done everyone, especially Mudman and helpers, for what looks to have been a really fun weekend
  20. I like it, and I agree, it does seem to have a touch of Urraco about it. Nice
