  1. Ideally you'll need to feed in some sprue (plastic rod of exactly the same material) for an effective repair. Just like stick welding. If you get the chance, and just to satisfy your own curiosity, try the superglue and baking powder...on anything. From cast alloy to sheet plastic, if you search you'll find a video clip of an oil filter that's been drilled, repaired and then pressurised. The filter ruptures before the repair gives way, like I said don't touch until dry, still got the scar! As with any bodywork repair, the amount of time and effort you put into the prep stage willl reflect in the finished article

If they get that all done in three days you're very lucky - my dealer had mine in for three weeks for gearbox/clutch problems! Fingers crossed it doesn't take that long. I took my 350 in for waranty work on the gearbox, dropped it of on the Monday before work and picked it up Tuesday COP, new box installed Yep, NEW FOC I know some dealers get a rough time but I really can't fault my local one.
  3. Doh! Sorry, should have said this also...hope you're OK! Just trying to eat dinner, do my expenses, watch TV, catch up on the forum....
  4. Just trust me on this one, do NOT touch it to see if it's dried! 'kin hot You'll be able to file it, drill it and even tap it, no probs. when you sand down the pastic keep it wet, warm water and a bar of general soap to keep the surface lubricated etc.
  5. Gouges, plastic padding will do the job. Cracks etc, stop drill them and plastic weld, or super glue liberally sprinkled with baking powder then another coat of super glue on top.
  6. Creating the first pet recipe book That made seriously me laugh...up until I realised it's now time for dinner, and now it's not so appealing
  7. Watching TV and using this forum
  8. No idea, I can't understand Korean ...just Googled it and TG is not in the top 10
  9. Agreed "Top Gear is a British television show about motor vehicles, primarily cars, and is the world's most widely watched factual television programme" - quote from Wikipedia. "British.." works here but not so well elsewhere, even Clarkson said so, but then he would!
  10. To be fair, but then we don't cook dogs in the UK , and I've not seen any being cooked out here..but then I've not seen any horses being cooked in the UK! . We do however something in common with Korea, we drive cars . The format just doesn't seem to work elsewhere, recently I've watched the American and the Australian (Stiggo) versions and they aren't as good, as vouched for by the yanks and aussies themselves! The other thing is, the last UK episode didn't seem too good to me, shame 'cos I love it
  11. Sat here in my hotel in Korea I thought I'd flick through the TV channels, I came across Top Gear Korea...OMG To be fair on 2 counts; #1. I did start to watch it half way through with the Star In a Reasonably Priced Car, apart from Psy of Gangnam 'fame' (and that's questionable) can you name any Korean celebrities? Mmm...the programme is on exactly the same format but on a cheaper budget, I'd imagine you'd get change out of £500 per episode. Radio controlled cars in a quarry crashing through imitation caravans, of which there are none in Korea. Oh, and no eye candy in the front row #2. In retrospect, for all the above it was no worse than TG UK shown last weekend 17th. I turned that off, went into the kitchen and sat there watching my dog moult, far more entertaining
  12. Good subject this, I've had my 350 for nearly 3 years now and I want (need) a 370, nothing else will do . Motorbikes have always been my thing, I've had over 40 'decent' ones, I too used to change from new after as littles as 6 months. However, 8 years ago I bought a Honda SP2 and I've still got it, I've spent many thousands on it and I still continue to mod it . To me it's the Zed of the bike world, never going to be the 'best' but it ticks all the boxes for me, my bike and my Zed car are keepers...reads like a confession
  13. Nothing better than asking the wife to look closely at the indicator just to see if it's working properly, you seen the power of those washers? She has....make it good it'll only work the once. Best to pre-select reverse.
  14. Turn your headlights to off before using it And stop posting...everytime I see that avatar I laugh so much I have to wipe the tears and dribble away, easy go clean but I have to wipe my face everytime I see it
  15. Don't even go there it's on most peoples ring tones out here, talk about hero status. Sooo looking forward to leaving Tuesday.
  16. If I see it again tomorrow I'll hang out of the window to record the noise, unreal! Seems so out of place as the people here are so conservative in taste and very respectful of others
  17. I remeber seeing Trevor Nation coming out of the '83 (I think) Race of Aces at Snetterton with PEN 15 on his motor, nearly crashed as I laughed so much my visor steamed up... Now that's a cool plate.
  18. I heard it long before I saw it...06:40 this morning my time, Korea. Black 350 complete with body kit of some description and a mahoosive rear wing! I was sat on a coach going to work in Geoje and could hear it over the incessant babbling of 40+ Koreans , it's the only one I've seen out here and only the second Jap car, for obvious reasons...
  19. No, but I'm feeling better already so I'll stand you a coffee rob, where do you live/drive? East Dereham, Norfolk. Quite a few Zeds about this way...
  20. Ok, but the rest of you on here?
  21. The full breakfast still stands I often wonder just how so many people manage to spend so much time on this forum, idle rich or just slack at work
  22. No, but I'm feeling better already so I'll stand you a coffee
  23. Right, this is getting beyond a joke...seriously I've had my 350Z now for nearly 3 years, I do drive it, I drive it in daylight conditions, it doesn't have a cloaking device, I have seen and have "spotted" other Zeds, but mine? I think that previously I posted that I'd buy breakfast for anyone that saw and "spotted" my car on this forum...I'm now at the stage that I don't care if you lie about having seen it.
  24. I'd sell my Midnight Blue GT,'08 with 42,000 miles. Really is mint inside and out with no dings etc, Mines carbon splitter, carbon rear difuser and Miltek system fitted. Anthracite powder coated wheels and matching door handles and Z badges. £10,500.
