  1. White 370 near the BP garage at Hale. That's the first and last time I call in there for fuel, took ages to get out onto the road Although the female attendant asked what car I was driving, then said it looks miles better than a TT
  2. Mmmm...Doh! Think I've kinda answered my own post as to why my car never gets 'spotted' I'm currently in Ghana, been here for a week now with a few more days to go Prior to that I spent nearly 5 weeks in Singapore and Malaysia and if I manage to get home for a few days soon I'm then off to Brisbane on the 16th However, when I am back I'm in the Zed a fair bit, unless it's good weather then the bike gets the vote
  3. Not me either I'm afraid as 350z GM all the way! Love the comment regarding the raging torrent!!! I see Rob you've got location as Kings Lynn....surely if you're around Scarning that's not a King's Lynn postcode? Er...yeah was King's Lynn but have been in Scarning (Dereham) for a while now, I do need to update I've had my Zed now for a couple of years but have never been 'spotted' I'm convinced that my car has some kind of cloaking device installed, to this end I'm quite willing to ask someone to drive round to my house and post my car as being 'spotted'. I'll pay for the fuel, you'll get a free meal and drink. You can wash your car using filtered rain water with the pressure washer (hose pipe ban ) and can also make use of my full range of cleaning products, hoover etc...just post my Zed as 'spotted' I've got the forum stickers, when I'm in the country I drive it all the time I attempted to jump the 'stream' the other day to go and see the owner of the white 370, alas non forum member, needless to say I discovered just how deep the water was On the return trip I just waded through it, lucky I didn't get swept away, could have ended up in the Wash.
  4. A black 370 on the A47 near to the Barnham Broom turning with a GM 350 roadster at the Barnham Broom country club. Also the white 370 I see nearly every day just across the 'stream' outside my house in Scarning, lives at the BIG house accross the way! Well it used to be a stream but since the introduction of the hose pipe ban in this area it's now approaching something resembling a raging white water torrent
  5. Black 350 coming out of Jewsons (?) depot in dereham as I was driving in, Midnight Blue 350.
  6. I've had mine on for a couple of years now and the only reason I need a new pair is that someone tried, and failed, to rip one off It just left it looking a bit rippled. Never had one detach but I've read the posts, can't see what the problem is
  7. You could drop Steve at Redline a PM, he's currently trying to source some for me.
  8. Kauntan, Malaysia. Going past the Police HQ at somewhere near re-entry speed! Sounded so I’ve been here for few weeks now and it’s the first one I’ve seen. With a population of around 607,000 I have it on good authority that there are only 3 Zeds here! Everyone is a serious petrolhead though, there are no ‘standard’ cars here with some of them being quite tastefully done.

  10. Prior to that 23yrs as a weapons tech...
  11. Spot on Takes seconds to do in conjunction with a hot air gun and will not mark the paint, not even Nissan 'paint' As for your new badges, take a real close look at the rear one and you'll see that the curvature of it is wrong. You can get around this but it'll involve removing the double sided adhesive foam, re-profiling the top and bottom of the badge...etc, etc.
  12. Now, now. Maybe you haven't been in the right place at the right time. Is she nice and shiny so she's more noticeable? I'm usually in the Zed when I see the other Zed's And she is always nice n' shiny! Mdnightblue, Milltek, twin Stillen CAI, Mines carbon front splitter with freshly done Rays in Porche anthracite (20mm spacers) and badges. I know how you feel. No one see me either. If its any consolation I think my missus sees you occasionally. She does mention a dark blue Zed she sees on her daily commute from Downham Market to Dersingham. Could be you? No, that's not me as my "occasional" commute would be from East Dereham to Gt Yarmouth. Anyway, if you see loads of Zeds all the time, why is there only one post from you in this section of the forum???..... Check again... seen 2 today in Kuantan Malaysia and 1 last Wednesday in Singapore...but will admit I didn't post then .
  13. ".......but I'm worried that the rubber might dry and crack or something?" What is your theory behind this?
  14. Yep, did that over a year ago. Sounds good, and looks good, with the Milltek IMO.

  16. This is getting ridiculous, no one ever, ever sees my Zed . I see Zed people all the time, the missus sees them, we wave frantically and no one ever, ever sees my Zed It's not funny anymore...I’ve read the post “Little known things about the 350Z†and there’s no mention of how to turn off the cloaking device, if this continues the car will have to go .
  17. Black Roadster on A47 Norwich southern bypass, silver one in Smalls boat yard in Lowestoft, sunset one in Lowestoft and then an azure one on Gapton Hall in Yarmouth! Nice day for it .
  18. +1 and well described , pull the drums off and then you'll realise that you'd have more resistance if trying to pull a hen of its nest.
  19. I'm only in Downham Market myself but hardly ever see another Zed. I was at Marham for 9 years. I'm in East Dereham, Night Blue, spent 15 years at Marham I travel the A47 quite often but don't see too many Zeds.
  20. Oxford Stormex (think that's right) or if you're feeling flush then it has to be the Hein-Gericke Storm, both are pretty good.
  21. Yep almost black, which is why I'm thinking the GM will look OK as oposed to Anthracite which will be too dark.
  22. Ok I'll try again... Does anyone think that Gun Metal on a Night Blue will look OK?
  23. I've done the search thing and it's well gone midnight now... I've got a Night Blue with Rays and will be getting the wheels 'done' next week, I quite like the idea of Gunmetal (lighter than Anthracite) but can't find any pics to help me make up my mind. All I know is that I really don't want Silver. Anyone offer some advice please?
  24. That model uses the obscure "Brew" OS rather than Android so can't really be compared to the other HTCs. It also has a very slow processor so you're probably better off ditching it for something more mainstream and widely supported. Thanks for all the info offered, ditched the HTC yesterday and bought a couple of (his 'n hers) Nokia N8's. No problems at all now.
