  1. Now, now. Maybe you haven't been in the right place at the right time. Is she nice and shiny so she's more noticeable? I'm usually in the Zed when I see the other Zed's And she is always nice n' shiny! Mdnightblue, Milltek, twin Stillen CAI, Mines carbon front splitter with freshly done Rays in Porche anthracite (20mm spacers) and badges.
  2. This is getting ridiculous, no one ever, ever sees my Zed . I see Zed people all the time, the missus sees them, we wave frantically and no one ever, ever sees my Zed It's not funny anymore...I’ve read the post “Little known things about the 350Z†and there’s no mention of how to turn off the cloaking device, if this continues the car will have to go .
  3. Black Roadster on A47 Norwich southern bypass, silver one in Smalls boat yard in Lowestoft, sunset one in Lowestoft and then an azure one on Gapton Hall in Yarmouth! Nice day for it .
  4. +1 and well described , pull the drums off and then you'll realise that you'd have more resistance if trying to pull a hen of its nest.
  5. I'm only in Downham Market myself but hardly ever see another Zed. I was at Marham for 9 years. I'm in East Dereham, Night Blue, spent 15 years at Marham I travel the A47 quite often but don't see too many Zeds.
  6. Oxford Stormex (think that's right) or if you're feeling flush then it has to be the Hein-Gericke Storm, both are pretty good.
  7. Yep almost black, which is why I'm thinking the GM will look OK as oposed to Anthracite which will be too dark.
  8. Ok I'll try again... Does anyone think that Gun Metal on a Night Blue will look OK?
  9. I've done the search thing and it's well gone midnight now... I've got a Night Blue with Rays and will be getting the wheels 'done' next week, I quite like the idea of Gunmetal (lighter than Anthracite) but can't find any pics to help me make up my mind. All I know is that I really don't want Silver. Anyone offer some advice please?
  10. That model uses the obscure "Brew" OS rather than Android so can't really be compared to the other HTCs. It also has a very slow processor so you're probably better off ditching it for something more mainstream and widely supported. Thanks for all the info offered, ditched the HTC yesterday and bought a couple of (his 'n hers) Nokia N8's. No problems at all now.
  11. I think you'll find that the latest generation have a camera mounted on the side of the van, like a very small dome...it operates through 360 degrees and doesn't miss a damn thing, forwards, backwards etc.
  12. Sorry for the delay in the follow up on this...I got married in between my origainal post and this reply! My phone is the HTC Smart, I sent it away for repair as it wouldn't connect and was running so slow. As the above post from Maccaman the Bose says 'Phone' but will not connect, no sound no nothing! I'm close to giving up on it and putting it in the bin. I've no problems with other peoples phones...
  13. I've a HTC Smart phone and I'm experiencing problems in connecting to the cars Bluetooth system, the phone tells me 'connection made and paired' and the car goes to phone mode when I attempt to dial but nothing after that. No problems with my old Nokia... I've done search for this but no joy, can anyone offer any advice please?
  14. When they were playing London a few months back I sold my 2 tickets for 250! Work commitments...
  15. King Fahd causeway...a ginger one going towards Saudi pretty quickly!
  16. If you want the V-twin experience, and if you're thinking Ducati then you do, I'd go for the Honda SP1/2. Build quality and reliability the rest just can't match, and that's not just the bits you can see. No cam BELTS like the 748 (not chains) to worry about as has gear driven cams, and the electrics don't pack in as soon as it looks like rain! Seriously though, not the fastest or lightest by any margin, but then you do want to keep your licence don't you? It'll still do 80+ in first on standard gearing with 5 more to go. My SP2 has been the 'best' bike I've owned in the last 30 years of riding, thats well over 60 bikes I've owned. Currently has BST carbon wheels, Ti/carbon full race Akropovic system with R&G hangers, Durbahn carbon airbox, power commander 3r, Nitron race shock, Ohlins internals, braided lines, Brembo underslung rear caliper, Harris rearsets, CRG levers, Undertail, carbon hugger, HID headlights(ace!), Ti fasteners all round...the list is endless. Go take a test ride...
  17. 'Some brake judder', on those pads...really? They look good for at least another 50 yards Well done on sorting it, nice job.
  18. I recently put a set of BST carbon fibre wheels on my motorcycle...you'll really notice all of the benefits above and some! I wouldn't have got the same performance gain if I'd have spent the same money on engine tuning.
  19. I know you wanted Re40's...but I've a pair of Re50's as new if that'll help? Just a thought
  20. Night Blue, '08 with 18k for £16,500 10 months ago...spent a bit since though.
  21. Er...does your Z ever move?
  22. Yep, just around the corner in Copenhagen Walk You staying local?
  23. Black car heading west on the A47 south of Norwich about 07:20, then followed an orange (ish as it was v dirty! ) one on the A11 about 13:00-me in the Night Blue. Quite often see an Azure Blue roadster in Gt Yarmouth...oh and then there's the GM just around the corner from me in Toftwood!
  24. Mmm...I paid 16500 for my mint '08 with 16k nah, nah
  25. Dissimilar metal corrosion...apply a small amount of 'neversieze'/'coppaslip' on the next set you purchase.
