  2. Big thanks to all at Clark Motorsport. I felt Ewen and the team must be really busy through the day (as expected), but PM's are dealt with rapidly after close of business. Great service, prices, and speedy delivery of items.
  3. From a fellow West Cumbrian. If your mate who's a moderator is also from round here (Andrew) then why not join us for a meet tomorrow - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67974-regular-meet-cark-in-cartmel-6th-april/ Hope you get many happy years motoring with the Z.
  4. didn’t want to drive too far away plus the police siren makes it sound like a real dodgy area. Weekend afternoons on the industrial estates tend to be quiet though. I know what you mean. There are a couple of exhausts like yours that have no join so should be no harm in running an exhaust like this even in my case where it may not be performing at optimum as designed.
  5. I must admit I didn’t do a lot of research and that’s why I have kept the x pipe from Invidia and not butchered it to use the end flanges for the mod. It may be installed in the future. To me the exhaust is loud enough (for now) but will be making a sound comparison when possible after it has a few hundred more miles through it. I take on board what you’re saying about performance.
  6. Finally had my Invidia Gemini dual exhaust fitted along with the Berks hi flow cats. Had these delivered fromTarmac months ago and should have had them fitted long before now as I've been missing out on the sound Despite the amount of R&D the manufacturer will have carried out, I decided to not use the x-over section but to have fabricated 2 straight sections in its place, making it a true true dual exhaust and having a slightly changed note due to both banks being separate. I realise this will take away the scavenging / balancing effect but figured any performance losses would hardly be noticeable and be out-weighed by the sound benefits Need to do a side by side side comparison with an unmodified Gemini to see how much difference it has made to the sound/burble. Bumper tuck to finish it off Just need to get the Up-Rev tweaked now to accommodate these latest mods. Stationary video: Drive by:
  7. I recently cured this annoying problem on my 04 Zed - Try placing a finger on the dash to the left of the led. This also stopped the rattle either placing a finger on the led or dash. I got some black, firm, foam type packaging and cut it into a narrow long strip. This was then placed between the dash (past the vents) and the bottom of the widscreen near the led and wedged/pushed in further until you couldn't see it. The very bottom of the screen is black so unable to see it from any angle. This worked for me by putting "extra pressure" on the dash and has been great for the 4 months+ I've had it installed.
  8. Happy Birthday Marra I guess lots of cakes help when you're away for your birthday. Enjoy it when you get back
  9. Best of luck with this mate At least you have plenty of offers of decent places to rest-up during the journey
  10. Sure am, in the neighbourhood up to and including next weekend. Any good.....?
  11. Just seen this Ian. Shocking , you must have been horrified at first! Great excuse to speed plans up though Liking the changes
  12. Hello from another West Coaster - Workington. A few 350's round here now but not so many 370's as you say. You shouldn't be too hard to spot.
  13. along. As AK says - theres a friendly bunch of us around. Before I purchased my Z (out of the county) I travelled a few miles, Leeds & Newcastle areas to view a few examples. Long days but at least you have pre/facelift Zeds to view locally to get to know them.
  14. +1^^^^ What DAZ6618 said above (if you buy the steering controls adapter, well worth it though)
