i decided to give it a go but ive removed the bose and found a problem. i looked online and cant seem to find any leads that can fit the new stereo. i dont know how to upload photos but hopefully this will work... nissan connect bose any ideas what leads i would need to get? cheers

ive got a uk model, with the bose unit, it all works as it should with the steering controls. its just the cd player is rubbish, jumps every few seconds and some of the speakers cut out. hitting the head unit brings the speakers back on tho. thats why i was looking at this nissan connect thing, if its just a case of replacing the headunit and maybe a bit of simple wiring i would be happy. just not sure how it would connect with the bose amp and whatnot

ah right, what does that do? im not too worried about sat nav, just want a cd player that works and to have it controlled on the sterring wheel, and bluetooth

Hi everyone Just wondering if any of you have ever fitted the nissan connect sat nav system in any of your cars. ive been offered one cheap from a new quashqai and been told it should fit in my z ok, keeping all the steering controls and all that. i got the bose still at the mo and obviously its packed up, but i cant really afford to put in anything too flashy. any help would be appreciated, cheers

Hi everyone ive had a problem in my car for a while now where the little alarm light on the driver side dash will start rattling at random times. sometimes it will rattle for a few minutes, others for an hour or so. i've tried sticking a blob of blu tak on it but doesnt do anything, the sound seems to come from underneath the little cap. Has anyone else had this problem? or know how i can take it out somehow? its not major but if any of you can help it would be appreciated. also my cd player is useless but i see thats a common problem cheers nick

hi i had a bit of a cold morning this morning, windscreen was frozen over, so i got some water on it to clear the windscreen but afterwards i tried the wipers and only the driver side one worked, the other twitched a bit but after driving home in the rain today with 1 wiper going non stop the other one doesnt twitch now i had a quick look at it and the wiper is all floppy but looks like its all intact. its still raining so cant get in there for a good look. have any of you come across this problem before or have any ideas where i should start looking? or do you know if both wipers are driven by one motor or do they have seperate motors? any help would be greatly appreciated cheers
