  1. I think some thing wil have give, it probably will be performance. I would be open to 4x4s. Gives me another avenue to look at on autotrader
  2. Some good points I guess for 8k that's the age of car I will be looking at. A friend has 2009 530d and I love it. I was thinking of a A5 to try and keep a coupe but they're too expensive at the moment. I've been spoilt with 350, will be hard to see her go. I will drag my heels for aslong as possible Thanks
  3. Hi All, I have dilemma, I'm going to be moving soon and I used my dads car to do my hobbies (fishing and kayaking). I need a car that's big to accommodate the kayak on the roof and my fishing gear, I was thinking of a BMW 530d ESTATE! Hurts to say estate, but I feel with a budget of 8k-10k that's my only option unless anyone else can influence me else where. The 530d seams to have the speed, although a cruiser rather than a blast to the coast kind of car like the 350z. Thanks for reading Darren
  4. Hey everyone was just for a bit of fun I was wondering how many will be pulling a sicky or having a day off to make sure the Zed will be in tip top condition for the show? I have the day off as holiday

  8. Yes the steering controls works great. Volume, track skipping (on i pod too) and the button to answer calls now changes the source ie cd to dvd etc.
  9. Hi mate, I love this stereo, everything works great. I used the link off here to the sextons website to buy my cables so the steering wheel controls volume, track skipping and source selection, it works great with ipod too. I havent got the rear cam installed yet but its on my to do list. with this stereo I had to used a stanly knife to trim the fascia as the cd input is behind the screen and it kept catching putting strain on the screen motor. You can trim alot off the back and the top edge. I put some masking tape across the top so I could keep a straight line when cutting I got the HU off bassjunkies, was the cheapest hope this helps
  10. I'm 25 and a retail manager from Somerset!! Blind date much???
  11. Hi all, I've had the skipping BOSE system for as long as I've owned the car (9 months) it was ok to live with but then, it 'ate' 5 of my CDs and every time I pressed the CD button it turned off. I opted for the Pioneer AVH4400BT a 7 inch touch HU, I used the link from here to sextons audio to order my cables and with a a lot of help from my friend it was working, can't believed I waited so long to change it, sound has improved 10 fold I had to adapt the facia due to it catching when the screen lowered to allow cds to be entered Thanks for reading
  12. Will be intouch soon for some carbon bits Thanks
