I was busy most of the weekend doing the usual boring weekend stuff: haircut, big shop, taking junk to the tip, sunday dinner with the in-laws etc so didn't have much time anyway. Will try and make the next one!

Thanks for the Heads up CS. My mate is a moderator on this forum and he'd already told me about the recall. I called nissan customer services this morning and my car is not one of the batch that is affected. Phil, you're welcome, pleased to read your Zed is safe... Indeed, at least nissan have decided to do something about those who are affected, although too late for quite a few unlucky folks i'd guess.

Hi all, I'm now the proud owner of 370z black edition number 10! Thought i'd better join the club and introduce myself. My name is Phil, 28 from West Cumbria. Looking forward to many years of happy and trouble free Z ownership (touch wood). I'm very happy with the new purchase!
