  1. Exactly as above! You've got to test drive this on your own and in that immortal phrase...'rag it and then some more', not too much though as you may end up buying it...
  2. Not an easy one this, ideally you'll need to drive both variants back-to-back and then make your decision. I succeeded in doing this and went for the auto, I found the shift to be totally seamless, I've never experienced any delay, whether in plain auto or using the 'flappy paddles'. The auto syncro rev is truly sublime and coupled with a more 'sporting' exhaust will have you going up and then back down the box just for the hell of it, sod the fuel consumption. The only niggle is that it's best to let the box select 1st for you, and...I'd defy anyone to change gear quicker with a manual. I've been shouted down before for mentioning this but, there have been a few issues with the manual box, both here and across the pond. However, to the best of my (limited) knowledge nothing untoward with the 7AT has happened, maybe something to consider?
  3. Ask an adult Sorry...but this one did amuse me.
  4. Done this on my old 350, longer bolts and spacers on the bracket previously highlighted,10 mins and job done.
  5. Yeah, you could also measure the depth of tread on your rear tyres and when you get the car back ask to have the 'missing' 3mm put back on
  6. I'm in full agreement, for a gloss finish you'll not find better....however, the original question related to the OP preferring a matte finish.
  7. I was a big fan of the Megs Endurance when I had my Night Blue 350, when used on my white 370 I could see the 'throw' from it. Since then I've been using the Dodo Juice Tyromania and I'm very impressed with it. Zero 'throw', and as has been said you can have a matte or satin/shiny look to it...and it lasts and lasts.
  8. Number 1 looks pretty good, what about the 370?

    Serving Prices

I'd be wanting a bit more than 1ltr of oil...
  10. I know you're after a loan set but...I've a pair for sale, £60 incl of P&P
  11. I'm guilty of having done so many "small and pointless" mods that over the years I've lost count of the total. However, in my opinion each and every one of them was necessary and an improvement over stock. I'm looking forward to seeing this completed, good luck and please keep me posted on the progress
  12. Dereham eh? Call round and I'll give you a free stubby RDX aerial...this seems to be the first item on that slippery slope to modding
  13. Interesting - how many miles have you done with the diffusers to form that view? And are you using spacers? Covered about 1500 miles with them fitted, bear in mind that a lot of the roads around here have been 'dressed' recently (why do this during the hotter months?) leaving tar deposits on the car, but not on the skirts. I said almost eliminate to allow a longer period of time to assess but it seems to be the case, so far I'm very impressed with them. A very affordable mod that I reckon will sit well with the addition of the Ings +1 front lip. 20mm spacers front and rear.

    rear tires

I've 2 x RE050A 245/45/18 with 6.5mm on them, no repairs, no cuts no damage.
  15. www.cobrasport.com http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=cobra%20exhaust&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CD0QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cobrasport.com%2F&ei=emD3UdWkNaG40QWdpIEY&usg=AFQjCNH4JA-tpnvn_Jqk1vEIfwMzp4HiTA Give 'em a call, seems to be plenty of options on 'tail pipes' but as for tilting them upwards I wouldn't have thought that would be possible.
  16. The diffusers come pre-drilled and the supplied self-tapping screws are keen enough to not need a pilot hole. However, I changed out the supplied screws for SS. They take about 5 mins per side to fit, honestly. An added bouus is that almost eliminate stone chips to the OEM skirts.
  17. That's looking good, really like the black mirrors as well
  18. Trust me on this, cheap Avon moisturising cream for prevention and post care then rub a wet Asprin on them.
  19. Well that's done it , Tarmac we need to talk as I need that Ings front lip
  20. Get in touch with Tarmac but as you know that's just a slippery slope to more mods
  21. Not the usual Black 350 this time but a nice clean GM 350, about 16:00 and travelling towards Norwich
  22. Looks much better and well worth the effort you put in
  23. The plan is to fit an Ings+1 CF front lip, must PM Tarmac, and then remove the plasti-dip from the front. Then...I need to source a decent rear diffuser.
  24. Call 'em what you will but please not 'side steps', that's all the excuse the wife will need if she stands on them These are extremely well made with a deep gloss black gel coat, they take about 10 minutes per side to fit, this includes a cup of coffee and bickies, with no dramas at all. Obviously available through Tarmac Sportz, just awaiting the CF version now. My apologies for the poor quality pics, it's something I'll never master... just that I'm really happy with them and wanted to get some photos 'out there'.
