  1. Fantastic build quality, awesome sound...
  2. True, the 350 system looked and sounded pretty good, but the 370 one just doesn't seem to have the same build quality. Shame really as the one I had on my 350 went on so easy, perfect fit and finish all round, and if that and the looks had been carried over to the 370 version then I would have got one.
  3. Easy Tiger! Good job the garage was open during daylight hours or they may have never have seen the twig either As before, good service though and always good to give some positive feedback as in general the main dealers do seem to get a hard time
  4. Got to ask, did you not even have a little look...? All the same, good service.
  5. Please add me to the list for a visit to Abbey, 370 with Injen CBE, Stillen Gen 3 and M370. Looking forward to the results.
  6. Flytippers eh? beats a mattress and calor gas bottle...

Give the guy a chance lol Fair point, but in my defence it was another day and the start of another shift between each post! I'm in Korea... The forum is usually run on word of mouth lol. and a bit of pee taking. It takes a while to get things done on here as people work. Just think, sedate slow, get there in the end and you will be fine:) Well thank you for the advice, I've no idea as to how I've gotten this far in life without little nuggets of wisdom like that Anyway, I've got to get back to work and let's get back on topic eh?

  9. Bit harsh, 'rubbish' and rain-x never works? Admittedly rain-x has been out since the early 80's and things have moved on a bit with better products, but at £3 a go and if you've not used this type of stuff before you'll be satisfied.
  10. Search www.the370z.com I imagine you'll find your answer there, and the answers to many, many more questions.

Again, what about 370's? If it's a 'Yes' then I'm in.

Any chance this could include the 370Z?
  13. Couldn't agree more, preparation is the key element. However, if after the correct prep you can't get a finish with plastidip then give up...it's pretty much idiot proof.
  14. I'm not sure I agree with the above, I did my 'Fangs' in plastidip a few months back and I'm really pleased with the results. I used plastidip as I don't want this to be permanent, it'll be peeled off when I get my splitter. The finish is pretty good and is improved with the addition of the 'glossifier'. Apologies for the pic not showing the paint in full detail, it's the only one I have to hand at the moment, but I'm sure you get the idea.
  15. Maybe you can tell my wife that it only applies to hire cars and demonstrators. I recall waiting at Gatwick car park and hearing the tortured sound of rubber at every turn, with a smile I thought 'hire car, nice'. Then she rolls up in my Zed, first words were 'this thing gets through fuel!'
  16. Exactly as above! You've got to test drive this on your own and in that immortal phrase...'rag it and then some more', not too much though as you may end up buying it...
  17. Not an easy one this, ideally you'll need to drive both variants back-to-back and then make your decision. I succeeded in doing this and went for the auto, I found the shift to be totally seamless, I've never experienced any delay, whether in plain auto or using the 'flappy paddles'. The auto syncro rev is truly sublime and coupled with a more 'sporting' exhaust will have you going up and then back down the box just for the hell of it, sod the fuel consumption. The only niggle is that it's best to let the box select 1st for you, and...I'd defy anyone to change gear quicker with a manual. I've been shouted down before for mentioning this but, there have been a few issues with the manual box, both here and across the pond. However, to the best of my (limited) knowledge nothing untoward with the 7AT has happened, maybe something to consider?
  18. Ask an adult Sorry...but this one did amuse me.
  19. Done this on my old 350, longer bolts and spacers on the bracket previously highlighted,10 mins and job done.
  20. Yeah, you could also measure the depth of tread on your rear tyres and when you get the car back ask to have the 'missing' 3mm put back on
  21. I'm in full agreement, for a gloss finish you'll not find better....however, the original question related to the OP preferring a matte finish.
  22. I was a big fan of the Megs Endurance when I had my Night Blue 350, when used on my white 370 I could see the 'throw' from it. Since then I've been using the Dodo Juice Tyromania and I'm very impressed with it. Zero 'throw', and as has been said you can have a matte or satin/shiny look to it...and it lasts and lasts.
  23. Number 1 looks pretty good, what about the 370?

I'd be wanting a bit more than 1ltr of oil...
