  1. Gonna have to buck the trend and stick up for Halfords here. When I had it, I bought the correct battery for my 350 from Halfords at £30, admittedly with their trade card which can make a huge difference on certain items. So it's not all doom and gloom at Halfords
  2. This time of year maybe get a little heat into it first?
  3. Nice write up, you're obviously very happy with both the service at Abbey and the results! Looking forward to getting down there myself, like you I'm sure I'll be equally impressed
  4. You know what, I agree whole heartedly as I wouldn't have parked like that either. What does surprise me is the reaction from some quarters, understandably people have their views but is the name calling really necessary? As for hypocrisy, you'd need to be a Saint to play that card...
  5. The original post states that most of the bay was taken up by bins...not only did the little old Lady fail to see them but it would appear some of these posts are pretty much invisible
  6. Oh boy, couldn't agree more with the 'drive it' posts. If you're going overseas for that period then I'd understand, but if I'm at home and I look at the Zed then I've gotta go and drive it..it's why I bought it in the first place. Sod the weather, the mileage, the dirty roads, I enjoy driving and cleaning it!
  7. White in colour, can't be too sure of the type or brand of kit installed, busy trying to dodge the traffic at the time, but it looked and sounded really good. Certainly turned a few heads on the main street in.... Okpo, South Korea.
  8. That, and putting "lol" after everything Vanessa Feltz driving? er...LOL
  9. Fantastic build quality, awesome sound...
  10. True, the 350 system looked and sounded pretty good, but the 370 one just doesn't seem to have the same build quality. Shame really as the one I had on my 350 went on so easy, perfect fit and finish all round, and if that and the looks had been carried over to the 370 version then I would have got one.
  11. Easy Tiger! Good job the garage was open during daylight hours or they may have never have seen the twig either As before, good service though and always good to give some positive feedback as in general the main dealers do seem to get a hard time
  12. Got to ask, did you not even have a little look...? All the same, good service.
  13. Please add me to the list for a visit to Abbey, 370 with Injen CBE, Stillen Gen 3 and M370. Looking forward to the results.
  14. Flytippers eh? beats a mattress and calor gas bottle...

Give the guy a chance lol Fair point, but in my defence it was another day and the start of another shift between each post! I'm in Korea... The forum is usually run on word of mouth lol. and a bit of pee taking. It takes a while to get things done on here as people work. Just think, sedate slow, get there in the end and you will be fine:) Well thank you for the advice, I've no idea as to how I've gotten this far in life without little nuggets of wisdom like that Anyway, I've got to get back to work and let's get back on topic eh?

  17. Bit harsh, 'rubbish' and rain-x never works? Admittedly rain-x has been out since the early 80's and things have moved on a bit with better products, but at £3 a go and if you've not used this type of stuff before you'll be satisfied.
  18. Search www.the370z.com I imagine you'll find your answer there, and the answers to many, many more questions.

Again, what about 370's? If it's a 'Yes' then I'm in.

Any chance this could include the 370Z?
  21. Couldn't agree more, preparation is the key element. However, if after the correct prep you can't get a finish with plastidip then give up...it's pretty much idiot proof.
  22. I'm not sure I agree with the above, I did my 'Fangs' in plastidip a few months back and I'm really pleased with the results. I used plastidip as I don't want this to be permanent, it'll be peeled off when I get my splitter. The finish is pretty good and is improved with the addition of the 'glossifier'. Apologies for the pic not showing the paint in full detail, it's the only one I have to hand at the moment, but I'm sure you get the idea.
  23. Maybe you can tell my wife that it only applies to hire cars and demonstrators. I recall waiting at Gatwick car park and hearing the tortured sound of rubber at every turn, with a smile I thought 'hire car, nice'. Then she rolls up in my Zed, first words were 'this thing gets through fuel!'
