  1. If you cancel your policy for a certain length of time I vaguely remember thatyou may lose your NCB that you've built up so double check that first
  2. Now go out and buy a lottery ticket! Nice to hear a good ending.
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Angelus-Brand-Acrylic-Leather-Paint-Finisher-Matte-1oz-/312278691084 eBay has the smaller one

    Tyre fitting

Can't recommend a fitter for you. I can offer my experience though. I have had wheels damaged over the years in the following ways. 1. Tyre fitters damaging the paint around the the wheel nut areas through careless but removal and fitting. Just mention this to the fitters so they are aware and inspect this area before and after. 2. Metal tyre machine clamps can damage fragile lips NO MATTER HOW CAREFUL THEY ARE! I know this as a friend who had a tyre shop marked my rim despite all his best efforts. On discovering this he reverse mounted the other wheels face down on the machine atop of plastic mounts so that the machine clamped the rear of the wheel instead. 3. Using a metal bar to break the tyre bead during removal of the tyre can scrape the paint at the lips. Again worth mentioning you've had such damage in the past. 4. I had metal valves originally on my LMGT4s. Some numpty used a spanner to remove them and chipped the paint around valve area. Then tried to use touch up paint to cover his numptiness! Check this area also. I saw this tyre machine on YouTube Hunted all over Manchester and finally found a place that had one. Been back 5 times now over the years and won't go anywhere else. It takes them longer than their standard machine so I slip them an extra fiver a tyre. But a £20 extra for 4 tyres is a price I'll gladly pay. You can see it clamps the wheel center with a cloth coated clamp......no marks on the lip. Plastic wheel breaks the bead not a metal bar Hope you find a trustworthy place as I know before I found a careful place the thought of changing tyres filled me with dread!
  6. Is that a Cobra or Miltek exhaust system I spy in the last couple of photos?
  7. So....... Are you back in the UK with your Zed? Azure sure is a mighty fine colour
  8. When I renewed insurance with eSure on our Kia they offered legal cover. When I asked what exeptions were not covered they said "We will only cover legal fees in cases where we feel we will win!" I asked how they quantify feel? He reverted to the previous scripted answer. So I told him I would do without as I wasn't feeling very confident with their "we'll help you if we feel like it" attitude
  9. I've tucked my dash cam wire under the headlining to the A pillar and down to the ciggy lighter in the footwell. My brother is telling me it is hazardous as the curtain airbags deploy near the A pillar. Should I be worried?
  10. A 50:50 mix of Sonax Brilliant shine detailer and Chemical Guys Hybrid V07 spray sealant as a drying aid as recommended on detailing world. I pat dry after a wash leaving a 90% dry car. Few sprays of the above. Spread and final dry with a damp MF. Jobs done in 90seconds.
  11. Heard good things about Black Hole and it seems well founded
  12. Nice to hear this project still on going
  13. Very sad to hear you selling up Matt. Am I correct in remembering that your carbon interior is not just a carbon wrap but one of the rare RSW genuine carbon fibre overlays that are rare as hell and hellla expensive! https://www.nengun.com/rsw/fairlady-350z-carbon-interior
  14. I think Daisyduke has just installed a Scorpion cat back system with rolled OEM style tips. She said it was a very quiet system almost identical to the OEM in loudness!
  15. Are you a high ranking police officer keeping your Zed in a secure police car park at night by any chance?
  16. Difficult to catch beads well on white but you've nailed it
  17. Wing mirror casing? Exhaust tailpipe covers?
  18. Welcome to the OC from a fellow Cheshire member. Nice to see another sunset. If you ever see a sunset orange in Cheadle it's probably me

    Scorpion

Did you go for the new rolled tips or the original tuner slash cut ones? I also seem to remember that Scorpion are so confident with their quality they give a lifetime warranty.
  21. Your heads up prompted me to dig my PINGI outta my boot. It's been sitting there for months. Well I weighed it and assuming it's reached max saturation by now it came in at 376gm After 6min at 500w in the microwave and leaving to "let off steam" it weighed in at 330gm So it's only really capable of holding about 45ml of water which looked a little bit lame! Alas, like the Tesco advert goes EVERY LITTLE HELPS
  22. Zeds definitely carry off mods well.
  23. Was a gorgeous sunny day up here in the NW today. Perfect roof down weather to listen to the V6 rumble away.
  24. Oooooo.....gotta love a Neeeezzzzmo Not many affordable performance coupes leaving Japan anymore I don't even count the new NSX or Supra etc as they are out of most of our reaches . Thankfully Nissan are still hanging in there.
