  1. It was one of the "mums" at my daughter's school. Not the most reliable of sources regarding motoring matters then
  2. Someone advised me to change my UK driving license for an EU one by 28 March due to Brexit so I wouldn't have extra theory tests etc should I want to drive in EU after Brexit. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/prepare-to-drive-in-the-eu-after-brexit But it seems to me like that's IF you live in EU. Living in UK I'd need to change the EU license for a UK one again after a year....I think What do you lot think?
  3. Welcome to the OC Role on Friday
  4. Back on topic. "Which 350z should I get?" THIS ONE Black.....✓ Rev up....✓ Full service history from new...✓ Only 2 owners.....✓ Ok, mileage is 70k but this is about as honest example as I've seen in ages with factory Nismo kit to boot. As always, you'd need to check it out before purchasing but everything looks legit. First owner trades it in to original Nissan dealer for a 370z. Next owner had it 9yrs. The only better scenario would be a 1 owner from new!
  5. It's been nearly 14 years with my zed and I still caress the paint after its had a coat of wax or sealant. Nothing pervy........just checking how the slickness is holding up as the days go by. HONEST Well that's what I tell my wife anyway Glad you're enjoying the Zed and free to post up pics of your zed
  6. I can't see this hanging about for long. It might be worth noting that when I insured my zed, some companies weren't keen on quoting on a Zed modified with spoilers and bodykits but we're fine when I told them it was was factory fitted. So another plus point right there
  7. Congratulations on your new ride. Glad you found such a fine example as I remember you always mentioning how much you wanted one.
  8. Looks alot meaner and aggressive with the skirts
  9. https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=397827 This zed has similar wheels with the decals in red. Whatever graphics you choose I like the red. Looks like a good combo to me
  10. https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=412336 Does this belong to member on here. There's always a temper orange zed at this detailer's studio that you can spy in the background. Azure was my original colour choice. Gorgeous colour
  11. I was hoping for something along the lines of Akina Speedstars racing team from Initial D
  12. What do the characters on the sunstrip say?
  13. Escort shed owners beware!
  14. Proper Batmobile right there^
  15. Not sure......but is one of the spokes cracked (top left of the pic)?
  16. That's bad news. Hopefully the companies can contact all owners for a recall before any losses. Goes to show sometimes keeping it simple with a Disclok has it's benefits!
  17. I use the term "sport" loosely https://www.menshealth.com/uk/fitness/lifestyle/a26619317/mma-arm-wrestling-the-worlds-most-violent-fighting-format/ There's an embedded video of the highlights I don't know why they didn't go all the way and tape both opponents hands to the table and let them headbutt each other like a game of conkers
  18. Things happen so fast at these speeds that the slightest obstacle or bump in the road can result in horrific consequences. There was a recent crash in Cape Town where the guys were doing about 190mph in their BMW M3. The news footage shows the car lose control (as someone undertook him) for no apparent reason in my opinion. Social media revealed the in car footage filmed by the passenger and also at the hospital. Sent shivers down my spine! I'll post the news page in the green room, and leave it to others to seek out the gory details. Needless to say, it really left an impact on me regarding how dangerous such speeds are on the motorway.
  19. That looks perfectly done, from the eggs to the sausages
  20. You do realise that a garage build thread is now compulsory!
  21. Can't beat black for reflections!
  22. Love the 1st 2 pics. The clouds make the Zed really moody and mean
  23. The Google maps satnav is pretty good at giving plenty of notice of fixed cameras. Much more useful than my old Snooper from the late 90s back in the day. In the 2 years of using it all I got were false alerts I was the gadget king back then. Had a snooper. A PDA connected to a separate GPS unit for sat nav. And my favourite......the pager connected over short distance to my car alarm! Now all you need is a smartphone.
  24. I even spy a hint of the E36 M3 mirrors that was copied on many a Max Power car :b
  25. Never knew about this until today. I can see the S13 front and S14a rear genetics for sure.
