  1. These are push fit. A foam/neoprene type edging on mine allows it to be precision squished into position. No fixings necessary or provided. I used to own the OEM one. This is much more prestigious putting the plasticky OEM one to shame
  2. My friend did the second daily commute car thing for a year or two. Had a modified R35 but didn't want to commute daily from Warrington to Manchester in it. So got a Nissan Leaf for commuting. The boredom was killing him but he couldn't justify putting mega miles on the Gtr so changed the Leaf for a....... Mustang convertible Even though the drive was boring, he missed sitting in something a bit special. Hopefully you don't do as mega miles as Manchester to Warrington and the smiles per mile outway the burden of low mpg. I'm lucky my commute is only 5 miles each way, so my average 18mpg isn't too much of a burden.
  3. Welcome to the OC Everythings ooking great there, even down to the perfect amount of gloss on the tyres. What did you use on them?
  4. Just finished applying some Soft99 Fusso to the zed in the garage. Now normally you'd see a photo something like this.... Cleared everything away and went back to check if I'd missed any unbuffed wax and caught this little guy admiring his reflection in the paint I use the term "little" lightly as he was quite a brute!
  5. Welcome to the OC
  6. Wow.....1 owner car with only 25k miles. That's a dream find
  7. Maybe post up your location. A nearby member may be able to meet up and you can compare zed sounds.
  8. That's a wonderful gem of a car
  9. Mine have been a super tight fit from day 1. Literally 30-60 mins to slide them out after undoing the 3 screws. I usually have to use floss and string to pull them out. When I refitted with the updated led clusters it was just the same come removal to change the indicator bulbs :(.
  10. Together with the smoked lenses and updated led rear clusters they finish off the rear nicely. Wish I'd seen this last year as I spent an age just getting the right standard bulbs. If it wasn't such a pain removing my tight rear clusters to gain access I'd get these too and redo mine. Be worth having these bulbs put up as a sticky I reckon
  11. Old pic I found in a warehouse under a skylight at a detailing meet. Sunset orange looks so different in different light.
  12. I'd hold fire on the Pirelli and get some Michelin. Can't remember which ones in particular MPS4 MPSS MPPPPSSS? but they've definitely been the tried and tested best tyres for zeds if your budget can accommodate. Ekona is the man to PM on which is the current Michelin of choice
  13. My brother in London is enquiring about PDR for a door ding. People are quoting £2-300! Up North in Manchester I'm paying about £40-60. Anyone down in London got any recommendations?
  14. Thanks for sharing. Cracking read with lovely pics. You should have posted a pic of the can of tyre weld that saved the day. Great foresight in bringing that can
  15. These Eibach coilovers with a helper spring in addition to the main spring look like they may help you. Soaking up initial bumps and imperfections whilst stiffening up during high loads when heavy cornering.
  16. Welcome to the OC
  17. But track day organisers don't take in the Megabucks like Netflix does.
  18. That's true passion.......some major bills for alot of those competitors!
  19. Sub box looks massive. Must've shook your lungs to jelly when turned up! How I miss my old 15 inch sub from the 90s
  20. Went for a doughnut run last night. Place was rammed. Had to park at Asda next door. Lovely Blue zed parked outside Krispy Kreme's After 7 doughnuts last night I feel sick. Ps. Not the joining around ones burning rubber......the Krispy Kreme ones
  21. My O2 sensors throw a wobbly every year or so. Standard car. I reset it. Everything is fine. Maybe a couple years later and it'll happen again. As long as it's not constantly coming back, the sensors may be fine. Just a hissy fit that some sensors throw up these cars.

  23. If I had a 370z and needed an exhaust, the Ark Grip would be high on my list. Love the pipe work and comes with Titanium tips
  24. As recommended above^ Gotta love the OC for good friendly advice
