I remember I crunched mine on a kerb at the exit of a multistorey car park about 12 yrs ago. The repair was flawless and still going strong. Might be worth getting a quote for repair as well as replace.

So I'll be putting this in a tiny travel spray bottle to apply to wheel barrels and spokes after rinsing, then simply jetrinse again to activate. Silver rims seem to be very forgiving at showing streaks from over application or not drying down after application with this stuff. So I'm planning to use a few spritz per wheel after every wash. Will report back when I get it.

Now winter is here and most of the weekend is daddy duties, it's almost impossible to have time to get surfaces perfectly dry. So washed the rims with shampoo and a mitt. Got most of the water off with a quick leaf blower session. Then wiped them over with Optimum Optiseal as it doesn't mind damp surfaces. I used to love the glossy finish of Megs Endurance gel, but don't have time to dry the tyres 100%. So after the cordless leaf blower I wiped over with the water based Autoglym instant tyre dressing. Happy days Until some theiving toe rags knicked my number plates a couple hours ago

Neighbour came to tell me he saw lads messing with the car while it was parked on the road. Thankfully no other damages. Somehow I doubt it's to clone another 05 sunset orange zed, but you never know. Got a crime reference number as I'm expecting them to be used to set off speed cameras, steal petrol or worse. Anyway, told friends if they see my zed driving around with unloved paint, dirty rims and tailpipes....... IT'LL BE THE CLONE NOT MINE

Got one from the main dealer. They ordered it. 2 days later it arrived. Drove to collect it. About £7 if I remember. Including petrol there and back I reckon £12-15. So if you can get one delivered from a different supplier for £15 I'd do that and save time. Or jam a Haribo in and hope for the best

Went to Arcade Club in Bury with the kids today. https://www.arcadeclub.co.uk/ Absolutely fantastic with machines I spent much of my youth on in the 70s and 80s upto current VR Occulus stuff. A bar with basic food like hot dogs and burgers that come with Nachos for £3, so not extortionate. Plenty of parking.......but don't bring your lowered cars in case you need the overflow car park with a steepish ramp.
