  1. Those night beads look the business. Been a big fan of spray products used during the drying stage. Still got 400ml of TW Hybrid Sealant to use over the winter too. Great minds think alike
  2. Even Noddy would be pointing with his jaw to the floor going WTF!
  3. For headlights you'll have to polish them first. The C4 will protect against fading again for a year or two. Without a coating after polishing the lights will yellow in a couple of months.
  4. Welcome to the OC That VW looks shinier than a shiny thing!
  5. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gtechniq-C4-Revitalize-Discoloured-Unattractive/dp/B00IOMDUN0 Choose the 30ml bottle and it's cheaper than the 15ml bottle! Normal detailing suppliers will charge close to £48 including delivery compared to £18.92. C4, C1 & C5 are all the same. Use this to seal your rims, restore and protect trim and headlights.
  6. +1 on a Worx Hydroshot Been using mine for 2 years Apply prewash.... Jet rinse is not as powerful as proper jetwash but will suffice Then 2bm wash and another jetrinse. You'd need 3 buckets. One shampoo One rinse bucket One for the jetrinse and applying the prewash. Maybe a forth bucket for rinse water if yours are small. One battery charge will cope with all that but I got a spare just in case
  7. Easy to check if brake pedal switch is working. Just check brake lights come on full power instead of very faintly. Mine was also sensitive to how far I screwed it in
  8. Thread revival. Did Nissan reply regarding selling you "scratch proof paint"? Did you indeed have it at all or did they sell you a standard car but bill you the extra anyway?
  9. My 05 GT coupe has electronic folding mirrors
  10. Was discussing Japanese performance cars of the 90s with TT350 last night. So I thought we should have a 90s revival thread again. Post up a pic of your favourite 90s car. After long deliberation, here's mine. An early NSX, no lairy kits or 22" rims, just tints, a drop and timeless wheels
  11. These are push fit. A foam/neoprene type edging on mine allows it to be precision squished into position. No fixings necessary or provided. I used to own the OEM one. This is much more prestigious putting the plasticky OEM one to shame
  12. My friend did the second daily commute car thing for a year or two. Had a modified R35 but didn't want to commute daily from Warrington to Manchester in it. So got a Nissan Leaf for commuting. The boredom was killing him but he couldn't justify putting mega miles on the Gtr so changed the Leaf for a....... Mustang convertible Even though the drive was boring, he missed sitting in something a bit special. Hopefully you don't do as mega miles as Manchester to Warrington and the smiles per mile outway the burden of low mpg. I'm lucky my commute is only 5 miles each way, so my average 18mpg isn't too much of a burden.
  13. Welcome to the OC Everythings ooking great there, even down to the perfect amount of gloss on the tyres. What did you use on them?
  14. Just finished applying some Soft99 Fusso to the zed in the garage. Now normally you'd see a photo something like this.... Cleared everything away and went back to check if I'd missed any unbuffed wax and caught this little guy admiring his reflection in the paint I use the term "little" lightly as he was quite a brute!
  15. Wow.....1 owner car with only 25k miles. That's a dream find
  16. Maybe post up your location. A nearby member may be able to meet up and you can compare zed sounds.
  17. That's a wonderful gem of a car
  18. Mine have been a super tight fit from day 1. Literally 30-60 mins to slide them out after undoing the 3 screws. I usually have to use floss and string to pull them out. When I refitted with the updated led clusters it was just the same come removal to change the indicator bulbs :(.
  19. Together with the smoked lenses and updated led rear clusters they finish off the rear nicely. Wish I'd seen this last year as I spent an age just getting the right standard bulbs. If it wasn't such a pain removing my tight rear clusters to gain access I'd get these too and redo mine. Be worth having these bulbs put up as a sticky I reckon
  20. Old pic I found in a warehouse under a skylight at a detailing meet. Sunset orange looks so different in different light.
  21. I'd hold fire on the Pirelli and get some Michelin. Can't remember which ones in particular MPS4 MPSS MPPPPSSS? but they've definitely been the tried and tested best tyres for zeds if your budget can accommodate. Ekona is the man to PM on which is the current Michelin of choice
