No problem, the main benefits of switching from the dual mass setup to a lighter single mass flywheel are that its maintenance free with no moving parts and also a lot lighter allowing the engine to rev more freely. The Xtreme kit has a higher clamp load than the OEM clutch kit which means it can deal with more power, we have a number of FI cars running this setup with no issues. It retains a stock pedal feel so is ideal for everyday use. There will be an increase in gearbox idle chatter below 1500rpm but the benefits far out weigh this. We supply and support the full Xtreme range in the UK offering full back up support.
  8. No offence taken The clamp load figures are on our thread in our trader section and on the Xtreme UK website but the flywheel weight is not, ill see if I can get that added.
  9. I could have given you this information Clamp load is 1285kgs which equates to 615nm or 453 ft lb of torque. The flywheel weight is 7.2kgs and is optimised to reduce the chatter experienced with going from the dual mass to single mass flywheel.

  12. For sale is my 2003 Nissan 350Z GT. I want to offer it to forum members first before offering it for sale elsewhere. I have owned this car since early 2015 when I purchased it from a friend. At the time he had bought it from a car dealer who had recently sold the car but ended up buying it back from the customer he sold it too as the engine started to use a lot of oil. As you may know this can be a common problem with the DE engines. My intension was to replace the engine with a good low mileage unit as we were regularly breaking 350Z’s. As time has gone on I simply do not have the time to do this and I know that if I do I’ll end up keeping it. At the moment I have a number of other projects that need my commitment as well as a business to run. So I have decided to offer the car for sale as it is. It’s a great example and has clearly been looked after in its life. It has a full stamped service history up until August 2014 at 104,618 miles. It’s now on 110,118 miles. It’s the full GT spec with all the options including sat nav. It has an HKS exhaust which gives a nice subtle increase in noise and also the later OEM Nissan LED rear tail lights. Other than that it’s completely standard. The body work is really in very good condition for its age, the pictures are after a quick wash, if it was detailed and polished it really would be one of the best I’ve come across. There is a small rust blister appearing on the passenger side rear arch but caught now would be fixable. There are two very minor scuffs on the bumpers and that’s about it, no dents as far as I can see both sides are very straight. The Rays alloys are in very good condition with only some minor scuffs, all wearing Bridgestone tyres with plenty of life left in them. The Brembo calipers are all very presentable and the discs/pads have good life left in them. The interior is also very clean with OEM floor mats, very minor wear to the drivers bolster. It has a brand new genuine gear knob fitted. Everything works as it should. It has no MOT and is currently on SORN, it would need very little to pass an MOT I’m sure and other than the oil consumption issue has no other known issues. Obviously the engine will require either a rebuild or a replacement engine. Comes with the complete book back and stamped service book, I have the V5 still in my friends name ready to sign over to the new owner. I have a new Xtreme organic clutch and single mass lightweight flywheel kit to go with the car, this is worth £800. I intended to fit one of these kits as the car is still on the OEM dual mass and although working will no doubt be getting tired now. I want £3000 which includes the Xtreme clutch, I would let it go for £2800 if I replaced the rear lamps with standard early spec lamps. The price is not negotiable if it does not sell I will just keep it. A good low mileage DE engine is available with separate negotiation. The car is in Aberdeen, I can arrange very competitive transport to anywhere in the UK. We are 10 minutes from Aberdeenairport and collect a buyer no problem.
