  1. I see from your avatar you're a fellow sunsetter
  2. I really need to check the W brace under my 05 zed. Part of me daren't look
  3. The branding gives it a nice finishing touch
  4. Just finished my 2 weeks Christmas holidays. For 2 weeks I've been spending time with the family and driving around in a Mini Cooper and a Kia Sportage. Today I was back to work. Just me and the Zed commuting. You don't realise how nice it is to drive until you do without it for a couple of weeks. Dare I say I even welcomed and missed the characteristic gearknob vibrations that people slated on the Zed's release. Let's me know the car is alive
  5. Wow.....looks like it's come off the Titanic! Where's the pic of the new one?????
  6. Wow.....that practically looks brand new inside and out. So sad seeing unloved ones with interiors scratched to buggery and seat bolsters looking as if they were used by a dog as a chew toy!
  7. Love the colour that Azure gives big juicy beads in the first 2 pics.. Like Christmas tree baubles
  8. Welcome back to the OC We never tire of pics
  9. Not seen those zed rims before I don't think. Look really good as does the rest of the Zed. Welcome to the OC
  10. 'A drunk driver who took to the wheel on New Year’s Day while more than five times over the limit was driving on a tyre worn down to the metal." Maybe the person writing the article had "a few too many" the night before as well or needs to go to Specsavers
  11. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/you-can-see-came-notice-17497950 Even if you were really drunk, surely none of you would be this dumb!
  12. Gotta love a bit of Nismo action. Welcome to the OC
  13. ......jolly good fellow......and so say all of us. Thanks for all the hard work
  14. Welcome to the OC Finding your way here is one of the biggest advantages you could have when looking to buy and owning a zed.
  15. Cheers Just ordered a clear one from the same supplier. May have to wait for nicer weather to apply it though.
  16. I have a dehumidifier in the cellar. I use the water it collects to rinse the cars sometimes as it's mineral free. I try not to dry the car if I wash at night in case I miss a bit of dirt. Don't fancy rubbing dirt into the zed with a drying towel! When I say wash at night I don't mean in thee dark though I do use lighting.
  17. That's one hell of a haul for the money! If i managed to bag that lot, my family would be recieving detailing samples for Christmas for many a year to come
  18. There was a thread on AvForums about this. I remember years back, if I wanted to convert friends to a home AV system I'd play them the lobby scene from The Matrix. I think the lobby scene from John Wick 3 Parabellum now takes the top spot. Even playing the 2 scenes back to back on the phone via headphones shows so much slam and spine tingling echoes bouncing off the walls! CECtu-lJNS0 What's your most memorable cinema/film piece of 2019?
  19. Oooooo..... forgot about wrap! Just googled it. Is it really as easy as this? If so I may try this next as C4 never lasts more than a year or so with my car parked facing the sun. Be good if you could recommend a particular film
  20. If you don't have a machine polisher, for the sake of £7.50 these will save alot of elbow grease if you have a cordless drill to attach them to https://www.amazon.co.uk/WINOMO-Polishing-Sponge-Buffing-Adapter/dp/B071LFWJ3Y Just remember to mask the surroundings and don't go too hard or fast which can create best and damage.
  21. Try whatever polishers you have in your arsenal first. From T-cut to Megs Metal Polish they all will remove oxidation. Then something like Gtechniq C4 to seal it for a year or 2.
  22. Finding that pristine example must be like finding a needle in a haystack! Glad it found a good home.
