I had mine replaced a couple years back by an independent garage. They said alot of people buy the part and mess about turning it before fitting which can bigger them up. I've no clue what they were on about but thought I'd just relay the story in case there was any truth behind it and "twisting" before fitting was hazardous.

Just finished my 2 weeks Christmas holidays. For 2 weeks I've been spending time with the family and driving around in a Mini Cooper and a Kia Sportage. Today I was back to work. Just me and the Zed commuting. You don't realise how nice it is to drive until you do without it for a couple of weeks. Dare I say I even welcomed and missed the characteristic gearknob vibrations that people slated on the Zed's release. Let's me know the car is alive

Cheers Just ordered a clear one from the same supplier. May have to wait for nicer weather to apply it though.

I have a dehumidifier in the cellar. I use the water it collects to rinse the cars sometimes as it's mineral free. I try not to dry the car if I wash at night in case I miss a bit of dirt. Don't fancy rubbing dirt into the zed with a drying towel! When I say wash at night I don't mean in thee dark though I do use lighting.

That's one hell of a haul for the money! If i managed to bag that lot, my family would be recieving detailing samples for Christmas for many a year to come

There was a thread on AvForums about this. I remember years back, if I wanted to convert friends to a home AV system I'd play them the lobby scene from The Matrix. I think the lobby scene from John Wick 3 Parabellum now takes the top spot. Even playing the 2 scenes back to back on the phone via headphones shows so much slam and spine tingling echoes bouncing off the walls!
