  1. Welcome to the OC We never get tired of photos of new members cars so when you're free, post some up
  2. Mighty fine 370z Post up some pics of how that paint looks at night too
  3. Good to have you back.... again. You're the original Mr Boomerang! We can't get rid of you. Just keep coming Looking forward to your next Zed chapter
  4. Some nice concaveness going on with those rims.
  5. A true fan........ returning with a second Zed
  6. Can't beat some nice beading If it's as easy as you report, it only needs to last until the next wash and you can give it another "blast" as long as it doesn't work out too expensive for you.
  7. I got sent this top tip today and cracked up If you glue a dead wasp to your palm, You can slap your boss at the back of his head as hard as you want and act like you saved him.
  8. Glad to see I'm not the only one who washes the car at night Round my way the council fitted rubbish LED street light replacements. They must be 2w or something as the street looks so much gloomier. This was years ago so I reckon like all technology things have moved on and you and Coldel are luckily getting the new stuff.
  9. Looking good there ready for Valentine's Day. Ps good shout on the alcohol swabs. My missus always has plenty of those in and I'm almost out so saves me buying more
  10. So we've all probably noticed how the driver's door will often swing shut if left partially open. We've also all heard of how delicate the finishing material is on the interior door handle. After 15 years ownership I wondered why it is that my interior door handles haven't scratched to kingdom come. It's because often I don't actually open the door to the max meaning I hop on and it closes itself. Then on opening from the inside I normally push on the handle with a flat palm so no scratching from fingernails. So the self closing doors do have a plus point of sorts
  11. According to my uncle in the far East, it's not a Zed or a Zee....... it'll always be a FAIRLADY
  12. That zee was damn fast. Love the look and sound of that car
  13. Very rare colour. Must be getting alot of attention driving that zed. Even the personalized plate is class Definitely need to post up more pics of that beauty
  14. Literally JUST watched a Panorama documentary on this. Horrific video footage of cars broken down on live motorways with no hard shoulder to escape to. Just sitting ducks with an average wait time of 37 minutes before help arrives. Dashcam footage showing the car Infront swerving at the last minute avoiding a stationary car ahead leaving the camera car literally a millisecond to follow suit as the stationary car appears in view like a brick wall. Just pure luck the cars didn't sideswipe the middle lane cars as they swerved. Another fatality was on a flyover with no embankment to escape to. Just sat like sitting ducks. 42 seconds later they were hit from behind killing the poor kid sitting in the back. Very very sad
  15. Just in case you've not seen the sunset orange under NON FLATTERING light, here's a few photos of mine where the paint looks dead and a bit Meh Even freshly cleaned the orange isn't saying much. But under the sun..... In a car park... Or at night... I wouldn't have ANY other colour
  16. There are good old 350's out there. They don't all fall apart after 15 years. Just recently Parsonby sold his gunmetal DE zed with a mere 30k miles on it that looked as fresh as they come. I think the big issues with older zeds would be corrosion (arches, underbody braces and suspension) and smoking engines and gearbox failures. Sunset orange is very dependent on the ambient lighting. Under the sun or fluorescent lights I wouldn't choose any other colour as I reckon it stands out like a Candy paint. Bit on an overcast day it can look like it's just covered in pollen. If you've seen it in the flesh and really love the colour, have a look at some older ones and hopefully you'll find a gem
  17. I can only imagine what that engine must sound like when you give it the beans!
  18. Where abouts are you based? If in the Manchester area I could pop down in my ginger to see what it's like fit wise. My bad...... didn't read the original post well enough
  19. All you need is 3cm clearance each side and you'll be fine. 6 inches is nearly 7.5cm each side which is plenty if you follow this guys model....... ........and he's well old!
  20. Welcome to the OC and happy hunting
  21. On the original PlayStation it has to be Wipeout Enjoyed GT4 on the PS2. Never really got into Gran Tourismo as much on the PS3 as the PS2, but I really enjoyed Race Driver Grid on the PS3. That was the last racing game I ever bought so I'm not really qualified to say anymore
  22. My brother had a parking ticket slapped on his SUV outside his house! Hope that's the end of it and they don't start keying cars
  23. Welcome to the OC As said.......pics needed
  24. And here's a narrow kit
  25. Here's the wide one at a meet I was at.
