370z Nismo Mk1 - Restoring back to showroom condition
HEADPHONES replied to Lewis Schwier's topic in Member Build Projects
That's just being greedy -
Coldel is correct. Raysor lack of does not a GT car make. I even remember EVO magazine having a long-term Azure GT car without the leather seats! Must have been deliberately specked that way from factory.

370z Nismo Mk1 - Restoring back to showroom condition
HEADPHONES replied to Lewis Schwier's topic in Member Build Projects
Don't see many mk1s.......even on the OC. Nismo design such gorgeous spoilers it's a mystery as to why they dropped it on the MK2. I've only ever seen mk2s in the flesh but I bet the mk1s can hold their own for looks and presence when parked alongside. Thought you were crazy selling the 350z bit now I see the logic Looking forward to updates and lots of pics. -
Definitely feeling the love for the glossier Autoglym Tyre gel Vs their instant tyre dressing. I'm trying not to stock up on anything now. Will just buy a replacement once I'm running low. Too many bottles of stuff in storage as it is

......and some say TW Hybrid Sealant isn't a very good beader

To quote Mr Kipling Those tailpipes look "exceedingly good" My brother laughs when I get exited seeing nice tailpipes saying he's never seen someone so interested in plain tubes of stainless steel GLWTS

Congratulations on the Nismo370 Those seats look so good I wouldn't want to leave the cabin. You're forgiven for not posting pics........the weather has been awful lately. Did you check the suspension springs to ensure the dealership had removed the transport blocks? I've heard Nismos go for multiple services AND STILL the dealership have missed that they hadn't been removed. Here's looking forward to some good weather and some nice pics of your new chariot

.......time for new tailgate struts. With the cold weather well and truly upon us, the struts failed as I was loading shopping in the boot. Tailgate came down like a guillotine almost decapitated me. Luckily it hit my head and not neck. Ordered new ones from SGS. Let's see if I can avoid fitting the brackets the wrong way round

Power, power, power and obsession with power

I spoke to a friend about the same thing the other week. He has quite a collection of cars. Stage 3 tuned R35. Ford Mustang Aston Martin Tesla Model 3 Performance A classic MG. I asked which is the most fun to drive and he said it was the MG. Stripped of creature comforts Noisy. The only car he has that he can really work through the gears on a simple trip to Sainsbury's whereas the others would see little need to shift beyond 2nd gear -
Well said^ So many I know have had jobs disappear, incomes reduced drastically and even a few lost loved ones.

Two years ago a Monolith appeared in my cellar. A BK Monolith Plus to be precise. The subwoofer arrived on a wooden pallet 25mm thick 90 litre cabinet weighing 46kg. Stanley Kubrick would be proud

Welcome to the OC Make sure you post up pics of the zed when you get one
-
That would be THREE times the price though and lose it's "budget" status

Even when comparing these two PETROL RS5s, the consensus was the engine noise and drama of the older 2013 model trumped all the comfort and performance improvements of the newer turbo model. I wonder what the consensus would be between the 2013 and future electric RS5 version would be!

Ever since I changed out the Bose headunit to my current DAB JVC one, i really like my Bose ampnand sub. The EQ on my JVC suits it perfectly with the EQ set flat but Super Bass on. That guide linky you posted cracked me up. The guy opened the amp up planning to stuff a piece of card in to tighten the contact and he found someone beat him to it as a piece of card was already there Glad you're able to enjoy yours again

Welcome to the OC Good to see another Zed under the ownership of an enthusiast
-
Don't see many dark blue Zeds on here. In fact I've never seen one in the flesh. Looks well tasty now though
-
Congratulations on the quick sale. Hope the car stays on the Owners Club.

That's more like it.......been teasing us for AGES and this is the first proper glimpse of them on the car. But, still not really showing them in all their glory. You're like one of those burlesque dancers just teasing with little snippets here and there. Some nice pics out in the open with full car in view and proper lighting please
