  1. I haven't had the PPF yet as they are closed in lockdown . They are a small family business in North Devon https://tintingexpress.co.uk/paint-protection-film-ppf/
  2. Have you heard anything regarding the Llumar brand ?
  3. They can do all of the car , but just these areas are on some system they use as templates . The other areas would need to be cut on the vehicle. I did ask if you would see the half done bonnet and they said if its a white car you can , black / blue no . I'm new to this so all info is appreciated
  4. Thanks for the feedback ,sounds like it does the job then . After 10 years can you see the edges of the film , any discoloration at all ? The supplier uses llumar hydrophobic film which was introduced in 2017 I believe and has good reviews.
  5. Thanks , should be right , I told them the year of car and was quoted £400 plus vat . £1200 for full car ( roadster ) I will probably do it , as car is spotless currently. View it a better investment than exhaust systems , body kits etc as currently all original .
  6. Hi , what are the main areas of the 350 which pick up paint damage from stone chipping? I'm interested in getting PPF and the company says they just have online temples for the following areas of the vehicle . The front 2 foot of the bonnet, full bumper, front area of the wings, headlights and wing mirrors. Does that sound about right ? Also anyone have any long term feedback on if the PPF was worth it ?
  7. I done the same , so skipped the vape this time . Been trying for 20 years on / off . God I feel sorry for people who come into contact with me at the moment. People skills 0%- say how it is 100%
  8. Ok thanks, off the fags , sooooo bit touchy at the moment
  9. Why is my question irrelevant ? Thought it's better to bump a thread rather than start another one on the subject , especially as long term view. Does PPF protect the paintwork after 5 years + of use , or waste of time / cash ?
  10. How has PPF held up ? As got quote back today to get it done on a 2006 ,which has a recent front end resprayed. If it works well , personaly think it's a sound investment in the quality of the vehicle.
  11. Before the little test drive , I had never been in one
  12. I was going to buy a different one without physically seeing/ driving, but the video sent to me was bad . The seller ( 30 years in trade ) was moving all over the place and looking fine . I transferred it to computer and put on my TV , skipped second by second and the body work was @*!# . Felt he was not honest pulled out . It's actually still on the market This one I did travel to look at , though still sent a £500 deposit before traveling . Luckily all was good
  13. It's definitely grown on me , I was going for a San Marino Blue roadster ,but I was trying to buy remotely. At the last minute I got a bad feeling about the quality of the body work and pulled out
  14. Just beat the lockdown to pick my first 350z . Never driven one or been in one and glad I wore trainers rather than my usual boots to pick it up . Fun drive home in the rain , hail ,snow , not smiled as much for a long time. It just keeps giving . Happy chap and looking forward to better weather and times . Quick photo , all stock ,2006 , 68k, resprayed front end & bumper, no issues, undersealed
