  1. I've got a BRITTAX EVOLVA 123 that I use in the zed when needed. It was the onot one that was recommended forour BMW Mini due to its small rear seats so that's the one I already had. It is about 1cm too wide at the base to rest perfectly on the seat without touching the seat base's side bolsters. But when you tighten the belt around it it pulls tightly into the seat. If left for extended periods I'm sure this would mark/crease the leather here. I've had no marks with occasional use ie seat in just for a day when needed. If you go shopping for a new seat this will give you a good starting point. Tell the salesperson you need a seat with a base narrower than the BRITTAX EVOLVA 123;)
  2. Don't feel too bad. A few days ago I was sat in traffic and didn't notice a White zed crawl past the other way til the last moment. For all I know he/she was waving like a loon trying to attract my attention!
  3. If caught the criminals should be punished to the same degree as someone mugging you of £400
  4. Clay and Iron X are the 2 most impressive innovations in detailing IMHO. Some say this new sealant/wax is a groundbreaking improvement over that etc but the improvements you see are minimal compared to what these 2 products achieve.
  5. Poor staff were left seriously disturbed
  6. Just a heads up. Costco doing 20% off all Castrol oils from 18 March to 7 April. So for the 5w30 that's 4 litre can for £23.98 including VAT.
  7. +1 Furthermore, if you're lucky enough, at the right time and place in your Zed, you too may be lucky enough to have a passer by point at you shouting ........"THAT MAN'S GOT A WASSO!!!" You'll NEVER get that pleasure in ANY Beemer
  8. Totally agree. Zeds are GOOD for your health. It only gets better too. After nearly 8 years with mine not only do I still look forward to driving it. Only now, after so many years my seat has moulded to fit me better and as soon as I slide into the car it just feels right. My son has his comfort blanket and can't be without it. I HAVE MY ZED : b
  9. Ahhh........that explains it. Penguins. All got shifty stares. Dodgy little buggers one and all hahaha.
  10. That looks crazy. Seems to be a big hotspot near the SouthPole.........wonder what that's all about?
  11. Could have been nasty if the civic spun into the middle lane!
  12. Without any doubt the zed would stay. I would deffo play with subtle things like coilys, Nismo zorst, uprev etc but don't think I'd go FI. After such mods I might even change it back to how I had it originally, just Nismo kit and LMGT4s. I'm sure I'd have plenty of contenders in my garage to satisfy the speed freak in me. Would just have the Zed restored and maintained to concourse standards.
  13. Car's looking good. I couldn't even give up chocolate for Lent for a month and you've resisted taking out the Zed FOR THREE! I salute your will power.
  14. Would you still keep your Zed after buying your dream team of cars? If yes, no doubt your dream team would contain cars that would leave the zed for dead speed wise, so would you mod the hell out of it, or leave it just the way it is for the memories and old time's sake?
  15. First and last ones are the winners in my book.
  16. Poor guy at Halfords is probably telling his mates about this new sports car he's seen. The new NISSAN WASSO! His friends will tell him he's chatting rubbish but he's probably revelling with the fact that he's the only one to spot the rare beast that is the NISSAN WASSO.
  17. That is one talented salesman. He must burn the most calories giving pitches like that all day long!
  18. Now that's something you don't see everyday hehehe.
