marzman Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 GTAV on the Xbone is amazeballs Sweeeet. i've just bought it for £42 in Tesco. Quote
Paddy78 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 What's not to like? GTAV with better graphics... here's hoping they don't screw the PC version when they finally release it. 1 Quote
Ekona Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 The car physics seem to be twitcher, but I suspect that's just where I've not played it in a year. Quote
Ekona Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Now if only we had a for sale section... 2 Quote

Zedd Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 So im an hour into GTA V and i've not noticed any difference yet Theres more grass Quote
Ekona Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Go back to the original and then tell me you can't see any difference. It's like night and day. Go through a tunnel and look at the light reflections on the car (like when you try and get the boat back). Or when the sun is rising first thing. Or dive in the water and take a swim. You're playing in 1st person, yes? Quote
Will370z Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 £50 for pretty light effects - woooo Quote
spursmaddave Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Not a massive difference with GTA5 Will, yes it's nicer looking and yes 1st person is fun but if I had played the original more I wouldn't have bought it again... It certainly isn't THAT pretty compared to some of the other releases lately Quote
sipar69 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I've never played it at all. Expected delivery on Friday. Quote
spursmaddave Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I've never played it at all. Expected delivery on Friday. I only played it for an hour or so on PS3 so enjoying it a lot 1 Quote
Ekona Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I guess it depends on how you feel about remakes, and how much you enjoyed GTAV the first time around. Certainly I feel it's the best game of the last generation, and experiencing it in a different way has brought new life into it. 1 Quote
Ekona Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Also, don't forget to change to first person when in the mission with Chop and Lemar when you have to find the guy you tried to kidnap very early on: When you take over as Chop, and he runs off to have sneakytimes with lady dog, it's a little bit funny Quote

Oh I am enjoying it but the graphics are nothing special, the novelty of the 1st person view soon passes and you realise it is how pretty much 99% of games are made Gameplay wise it is GTA you either love it or hate it, I personally love picking up a hooker then beating her up to get my money back but I can see that it wouldn't be for everyone Quote
Zedd Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Apparently the 1st person view is making alot of parents angry, as their kids can now see in more detail what the prostitute is doing, and killing said prostitute afterwards lol ummm hello, its an 18+ rated game...... 1 Quote

Daily Mail strikes again..... yep it is 18+ rated for a reason Quote
mouthwash Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I'd imagine in first person it feels a lot more immersive, I've seen a few clips and it certainly seems a lot more brutal in 1st person. I'll probably check it out when it goes to bargain bucket.. I've already paid for it in full once in the last year and a bit, certainly not paying full price for it again. Quote

Hmm yes, I am getting an Xbox One soon and am unsure whether to get it again or not. The first person mode looks pretty cool though and will most probably go through the story mode again using it. Might get it in a console bundle so it doesn't really feel like I'm buying it lol. Quote
Ekona Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 If you enjoyed GTAV on 360/PS3, then probably best to avoid this. If you adored GTAV on 360/PS3, then probably best to sell your left testicle/booby for this. Quote
