Be difficult on an engine you would need 100% de grease and the heat may well and truly f#ck it up but it looks fantastic

Looking very nice indeed. I appreciate how much works goes into this. I spent hours and hours with a dremel on mine two years ago. Will be good to see your finished bay. You need to treat yourself to some bonnet dampers.

Around £100ish. Depends what you go for. I have a carbon one from Japan via fleabay. Paid about £70 3 years ago. Photo below.Plenty of sellers on here.

The main purpose or it's devised purpose is to divert air into the rad. Air Diversion Panel as it's otherwise known. Does it make any difference, probably not. But as Payco says it creates a cleaner look under the hood and on most panels the hood catch hole is reduced, making it neater.
