Actually A Trekkie or Trekker is a fan of the Star Trek franchise, or of specific television series or films within that franchise. Quote
Ekona Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Nope, fans of Star Trek refer to themselves as Trekkers, we always have done. Outsiders used Trekkies as an insult, so we never adopted it. 1 Quote

Zeezeebaba Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I bet old William Shatner is gutted. It's like a real life version of the Wrath of Khan. RIP Spock. Another piece of my childhood fades away.Im a big scifi fan but not a die hard trekker. I always remember old Leonard in mission impossible and thinking he looked odd with normal ears 1 Quote
Flex Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I always cry in that scene were Spock saves the enterprise. Sad but true Quote
