Aglii Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Hello, my name is Helgi, im 23 from Iceland. I have had my 350z for almost 4 years now, its a white 2003, base model, 6speed. First 2 years i had it, i had it supercharged with a vortech v2 system, upgraded fuel system, and more. Then after 2 years of 10psi of boost the motor was not so happy anymore, and it failed on me. Then i sold the vortech system, and ordered a used motor from the states which is ****ing expensive when your in Iceland, taxes and shipping alone was over 2000 dollars.. The used motor had around 50k miles on it, never been boosted, and when i finally got it i changed all the gaskets(including head gasket),all major seals, new thermostat/waterpump, spark plugs, oil filter, all hoses and belts. and currently i am putting it in the car, been really busy the last year, and been slowly ordering all this stuff over the year, really expensive to ship to Iceland which kinda sucks. Will make a tread and keep you posted about my swap if you guys like.
