Paddy78 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Sorry to see this matey and I hope you get it sorted! It's sickening that more and more people will just drive off after damaging someone else's car... Quote
chubbster Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Some people shouldn't be allowed on the roads. My wife, for example, reversed straight into a large, stationary, orange bus last week, as she left our driveway. It was stopped at the bus stop - you know, the one opposite our house, where it stops every 30 minutes - you know - that one. The one that stops there every 30 minutes to let people off and pick new ones up - you know - A F**KING BUS. And she's got reversing sensors. And she says I'm a bad driver. 1 Quote

BTW does your camera have the function to record if the car is off? It will do once I hard wire it in. Works on motion sensor and will record the 3mins before and after a knock. Quote
taras Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Hard wire it meaning that it'll feed off the battery directly correct? Does this mean the camera will always be on standby? Will this drain the battery? Quote
Stutopia Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 The smart power knows when the battery gets low, so it stops drawing on it until after the next ignition on. I believe over the course of a night it shouldn't be problem. Two weeks on holiday though and you won't get full coverage! Quote
