haytonz Posted May 5, 2012 Share Posted May 5, 2012 saw this on ebay and thought it was an amzing price http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-03-reg-F ... 2c651756dc i know it needs some work but i was wondering how much that would be to finish the project exhaust=£ engine cover(would only get a piece of metal since who wants to see a mr2 engine=£ all of the stuff like wheel alignment,fluid levels and wiring=£ fitting doorhandles=£ roof because im not sure it has one =£ turbo or something to tune up that slow mr2 engine to make it move like a ferrari=£ all parts dont have to be proper ferrari parts just any old thing that looks good. would be great help if someone could tell me about the prices since im kind of interested Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'll end up putting a lot of effort and a wad of cash into something that will not be a Ferrari. The interior will never look like a 360, neither will the engine, and it certainly wont sound like a flat plane v8 either. The day you are out driving around in the sun and a real Ferrari pulls up alongside, then you will feel like you want the earth to open up and swallow you up. You would be better off just getting the standard MR2, and tuning it up to be faster than a Ferrari - it will put a bigger smile on your face and you wont be driving round playing "lets pretend" all the time.
