:lol::lol::lol:

Currently figured out to do this:

put in the micro SD card

Hold the ON/OFF button until the yellow light comes on then hold the MODE button until you get 3 flashes and the light goes out... its now filming, hit the MODE button once and it stops and goes back to solid amber light...

Posting up a youtube clip shortly :teeth:

Can anyone confirm if it's possible to remove the date and time and not have it displayed at all?

Certainly can dude :thumbs:

Q: how do I change the date time or remove it?

A:

1) Delete everything on the MicroSD card.

2) Create a text file called TAG.TXT in the root directory of the MicroSD card.

3) Open TAG.TXT and enter the following, correcting the date and time:

[date]

2009/09/27

21:00:00

4) Save TAG.TXT.

5) Eject and power-on the camera. The system will analyze TAG.TXT, then set system time according to what the file indicates. After that the text file will be deleted by the system automatically.

The player can play AVM format video, please install the software, it’s AVM converter, please choose 160×128 Frame Size.

If this doesnt work then:

Just managed to set the date and time. Had my windows extensions hidden. so was creating tag.txt.txt

Create a txt file at the root of the memory card, called tag and put in the correct date and time. Put in the data below.

[date]

2010/03/12

19:28:00

save file.

Turn off camera and then on. If it has worked the tag file should have been erased.

/That does not get rid of the date... it changes the date, follow the below lnik:

that bloody MX5 on the start of the mad mile really annoyed me.

First drive test... did record with my HTC mounted to the phone kit and that looks awesome so will probably use that for internal video in the future...

I just put it under the sunvisor toget an idea of sound and quality... not that you can see much then my nice hood :teeth:

Oh FYI, I've done the Date/Time .txt set and can confirm it does work with Win 7 and Snow Leopard :)

Can you clarify how you do the Date/Time set on a Mac running Snow Leopard?

Edit - managed to change the date/time now, but would rather get rid of it altogether - see next post.

Still no signs though of how to get rid of the date/time stamp in the corner ??

For the money though :yahoo::yahoo:

Just crop it out at the editing stage, that's what I did :thumbs:

Think i'd rather have the date stamp than the blur fix... :dry:
