Looking for suggestions. Part of me is thinking 370z Nismo but then I'm also thinking what else could I get. I want something fun and sporty.

Thought about that but I'm trying to see if I can avoid the higher car tax bracket.

 

Started looking at Caymans, yeah I know, it's the poor man's choice of Porsche.

Are running costs an issue? If so your choice is much more limited than if you’ve got a bit of cash to spare. 
 

But yes, a Cayman in the obvious choice, but one with a six not a four in the middle. V8 Vantage worth a look, as is an R8, and every petrol head should try a Lotus at some point in their life.

Yeah running costs will be a factor. Hence why 370z seems like a safer choice.

What are running costs like on a Porsche? Always been a dream to get one.

I know I’ve been converted to the classic side of motoring but get the right one and you will have a lot of fun, and make money for a change rather than lose it. You could get a nicely sorted 240z for £40k that will be worth £50k in two years time. Just a thought..

Need it to be ULEZ compliant. My current car, Renault Clio 1.2 8v X reg is on its way out. Will be fun rocking up and asking for a test drive and trying to part exchange it

Cayman 981s it is I think. Now to find one with the 3.4 engine, pdk, sports exhaust, sports chrono package and in sapphire blue.

The lovely lady I got my 370 ragtop from her husband has got A GTR 980 bhp 2.1 seconds  0 60 he took me out why i never video it I don't know amazing

Love the colour but bit too high mileage. Found a black one with 22k miles on the clock. But really want one in that blue.

Oh and I do know a good indy, used to on here with his Veilside 350z. I'm sure I'll contact him if I get the car.
