Znowdonia 2022

Had the idea for a long while now and it's finally happening. Full details below for the breakfast meet, checkpoint stop offs and dinner.

Sunday 18/09/22

 

Time:

9am - 5pm

 

Location:

Snowdonia

 

From breakfast 1st checkpoint stop being over the boarder into Wales for 15mins, before heading up over and down the mountain to Lake Bala. There we'll meet up for an hour or so to chat, let our heart rates calm down, take pictures and grab a cold one before heading north to do a lap of the Evo triangle. Since my last visit, there are average speed cameras in place along that section however at the national speed limit those roads are still plenty fun enough. 

 

More Great driving roads await before our 3rd checkpoint stop, see how we're looking for time before heading for dinner.

 

1. Breakfast - The Transport Cafe

A5 Cannock WS11 1SB

9am - leaving for 9:45am

 

Full details of route available via PM and/or on the day. 

 

Along with these they'll be loads of fantastic roads nearby, however it's not an overnighter on this occasion and the amount of driving above for a large group with be plenty.

 

ZERO overtaking unless on a dual carriageway. No speeding will be tolerated.

Usually in the past the route hasn't been publicly posted as so to avoid the police knowing about the route prior to it happening, just in case 😬

I think what he's saying is you've advertised the meet on that day with details  of your route. 

So the old bill will be out in force WAITING

I might join you for a partial run.

 

As I'm down in Cardiff I won't make sense for me to meet you at Cannock.

I could meet you at B - Lake Bala and then leave you at F - Lake Mwyngil. 

 

If you could let me know what time you expect to be at Bala, that'd be great.

In fairness to Davey, he's making it quite clear about what sort of drive-out that it's NOT intended to be.

Actually that was added after my comment, when he also removed the whole route. Tbh I wouldn't have put a starting point and time but that's just me.

Only ever been to Cardiff. Might as well even though Im not in the midlands. Will have to stop over in the Cotswolds before and after. Hopefully have the exhaust on by then. Hope the weathers clear.
