  1. Time to update the list of things to do.... New front drivers side wheel well liner (after it got ripped apart in a pothole) New front and read passenger side wheel well liners - came apart after a garage didn't do my wheel bolts up. Turns out only 1 bolt was holding the wheel on. Lucky it didn't do more damage! New (used) AC Compressor (booked in) Rebuild old AC compressor as new (old) one didn't work. Replace rear under engine splash gaurd Replace boot gas struts Replace boot spring propper (I've ran out of coins to keep adding ) Replace rear spacers due to snapped stud Replace front spacers (to match front) due to mis-matched bolts between the spacers the the OE bolts! Replace both front lower arms Kidney brackets and W brace will likely need doing before long too. Going to be a while before much of this gets done. House in Wales isn't selling so I'll be renting in Yorkshire until I can sell and move properly, doesn't leave any spare money! Will be worth it once sold though.
  2. Unfortunately I think your right. Everything these days either sends you to Discord or a Facebook group.....
  3. Great turnout from us and the rest of the show. I think I missed meeting almost everyone as I was late getting in. I got in the queue just after 0800 and it was 3 or 4 miles long, I think I was finally parked at 1030ish! @davey_83 nice to meet you properly! I only took a couple pics as I'm woefully out of practice and was just enjoying being out at a show again.
  4. See you guys up there. Aiming for 0800.
  5. I won't be there that early Probably aiming for 0800 ish.
  6. Hey all, been out of the loop on this for a bit. What time should we aim to be there? Looks like the show kicks off at 1000 but can't see anything on the tickets for a time to enter when on a stand. Ignore that. Clearly I'm not awake! It's 07:00 - 09:30
  7. Definitely interested. Hopeing I will have moved by then. If not, then it wil be a maybe.
  8. Woke up to sort the house out for a viewing today. Can't beat the look of these cars.
  9. Today is clearly one of those days. I figured I would just rip the arch liner out and get it replaced as soon as possible, it was all bent up anyway. Good thing I did, after a wheel rebalancing I had the other day, turns on that same wheel only 1 nut was tight. The other 4 with only threaded on and never tightened! Thankfully no damage done. Not the sort of thing you'd expect within 10 miles of having work done.
  10. Urgh.... Anyone want a 350z? Somehow - and who knows how - the rear part of the front left arch liner has folded up on itself and is now catching the tire when turning. It's all bent out of shape and needs replacing now (along with the front half thanks to a pot hole months ago). How on earth did that happen?? I seem to have a growing list of silly issues with it at the moment. Sarcastic rant over... Find that damn dodgy coil New front drivers side wheel well liner (after it got ripped apart in a pothole) New rear brake pads New (used) AC Compressor (booked in) MOT Find annoying metallic rattle Fix the other arch liners Replace rear under engine splash gaurd Replace boot gas struts Replace boot spring propper (I've ran out of coins to keep adding Replace rear spacers due to snapped stud On the plus side, while I don't have a lot of time to do this work due to living in Wales but now working in Doncaster (moving soon with any luck). The new job does at least give me the extra money to go chasing these.
  11. Cheers both, not sure if I will do it. Was something I was just thinking about.
  12. Quick question. Does the revup engine benefit from the plennum spacer? Or was that solved with the improvements the revup brought?

  15. This was the road in question. Bit of a trek off the beaten path to get up there, but 100% worth it. https://maps.app.goo.gl/NJhKqHmrZ9f34C2H9
  16. Thanks mate, felt good. Taking the GoPro next time as those roads were amazing.
  17. My own pics from yesterday out in South Wales
  18. Been batteling with Anxiety the last several weeks but finally was able to get out and enjoy the car and roads down here in South Wales. Even had a go at a stiched panaroma. Next time, I'm taking the GoPro.
  19. Thanks, will give it a shot sometime this week.
  20. Anyone know how I can fix my seatbelts. The drivers side is starting to get slow to retract, takes a few pulls to get it going... I think I've seen somewhere that cleaning up the belt with polish can help, but that may be a BMW thing or a drunken dream...
  21. Thanks for the heads up. Seems like 16mm is the default as the 14mm is available on request. I guess I will find out soon enough!
  22. So the car took a beating a few weeks ago. I've lived on a new build site for the past 5 years, with some pretty poor roads but never had an issue. A month ago the started cutting back all the tarmac for resurfacing and I ended up clouting the splitter and breaking the arch liner etc. I was moving at walking pace before any asks. But, where the put down temporary tarmac, they did a @*!# job and left a huge step that I couldn't see is it was under the nose of the car, coming around the junction. Such is the life of the lowered I suppose. Anyway, the car will need to go in at some point to get that sorted but there may be a new addition going the car that I've been keeping under my hat for ages. I'm also considering swapping out my 19inch wheels for some 18s I do like these wheels, but 19's on the state of the roads in Wales, is just not nice experience. It's probably why my front suspension is suffering. New drop links went on a few months ago and now the ball joints are getting bad. So, I'm not 100% sure I will swap, but if anyone has something they'd liked to swap let me know. Ideally I'd like a 5 spoke in the style of / similar to LMGT's. I know I won't get those, but something in that style would peak my interest, Rota Slips have caught my eye. I don't know the full spec of my wheels but they are spaced at what looks to be 20mm (I've never actually measured it, never had a need). Front tyres are 245/35/19 Rear tyres are 275/35/19 with a rolled rear arch. Linea Corsa LC818's As said, not sure I will go for it, as I do like how these wheels look, but interested in a change and something a little more forgiving on the roads down here. So list of things to do in no particular order... Repair front splitter Add secret part (it's probably not that exciting ) Replace Air Con compressor (finally) Replace or repair the Passenger side arch liner (just after I replaced the Drivers side ) New Rear pads New lower ball joints Both sides need doing at the covers are failing. I know Zman can do matched lower arms with new ball joints but this gets expensive when you need both (not against Zman, that's just the cost of parts). Torqen can supply both the 14mm and 16mm ball joints which would be half the cost. So may look into this option. If anyone had any experience with these, it would be appreciated. Essay over..... Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
  23. Forgot to add if anything changes, I'll be sure to say something. I've got the Jap show up in Telford this weekend with my mate, followed by a car show down here in Wales. Busy month all round really.
  24. Ha, I appreciate the offer but it'll be the fuel cost, plus I've got a few other things I'm going to closer to home before / after it. Have a good one
