HoundDog Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 It is with sad regret that I lost my dad last Thursday, he fought until the very end. During February I had a photoshoot and my dad was present for that, he was a petrol head just like me. I was pleased he was able to there with me. I'm sure the writer/editor won't mind me sharing one picture with you. Unfortunately the pictures arrived 20 minutes after my father passed away and I never got to share them with him. I never got to take him for a drive in the car either... I hope to drive the car and show it off and make my dad proud of the project I have created, he was proud of what I had achieved. HoundDog Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) Update time. Not been updated for a while as not a lot has happened to be honest. I attended wings and wheels show last August and on the way back I had a strange rattle , pulled over and decided to call the Rac. Ended up getting a flat bed back home. I had to send the super charger back to vortex in the USA who rebuilt it.The bearings had failed and sheared the fins on the impeller. I Have had this under a year and wasn't covered under warranty. By the time I got it back winter was approaching so it hasn't been out much. To date this year I've fitted some rear louvres (Grundy ones) which I found for sale on Facebook and managed to get them before anyone. Phase one completed this morning as I put my new Seibon carbon bonnet on before it goes to the body shop next week to have a few things done to it. Probably be a bit like marmite but at the moment I love it. This is how the engine bay looks at the moment. I have just started repalcing the bolts with some titanium ones. I've also got a new Rockford fosgate sub woofer to install. Oh got in the calendar this year for February happy days : ) It Will be having a service soon with Sly and may be change of exhaust , getting rid of my current nismo exhaust system and a change of headlights coming soon.
