  1. Dodo Juice Lime Prime (not lite) should help. If not there is a massive array of stuff to help, just make sure its a proper wax and not something like Megs Scratch-X! I use Poorboys SSR (SSR1-SSR2.5)
  2. Although not a sign of tea or biccies anywhere. Lee has some catching up to do to get to ESR standards
  3. Cant make this one bud. Thought I had already dropped out, but to confirm I cant be away from home atm
  4. What gear(s) does it happen in? I assume you can replicate it every time?
  5. hmm meant that when you hit the quote button instead of getting into the reply it adds it as a + and then when you hit the REPLY button it uses the ammount of quotes you decided to reply to if you know what I mean? I think I get what you mean, you want to quote multiple posts? To get around this, hit Quote on the first post, which brings you into "Post a reply" page. At the bottom of that, you get the thread again, hit quote on the other posts you want to quote and they will pop up in the reply panel Its a completely different forum software that lets you quote like you suggest, I think Invasion board or something like that, not phpBB that we use.
  6. Can you not use FF and minimize it to tray?
  7. We're all good for something bud. I'm still searching for my use
  8. Very good find indeed, always nice to hear hes making progress.
  9. Good progress Paul. I see the green beastie is waiting in the wings for you to hurry up
  10. Yeah I know what you mean bud. The problem is when you go to the dealer for the disc and they want hundreds of pounds for it, a new aftermarket nav doesnt seem all that expensive
  11. I beleive airbags have a shelf live of around 10yrs. After then the explosives they use to fire them can become unreliable and they are meant to be checked and replaced. Certainly should last more than yours did though. Seems you have been unfortunate in getting all of the common issues in one car, but you arent going to find any vengence on this site, unfortunately you were one of the first to get one and got unlucky On the flip side, I've got a 53 plate with nigh on 90k on the clock, which going by the reg and what people said on here, its one of the older UK cars and I've had no real problems touch wood. I blew the BCM which caused the lights to go mad (and replaced under extended warranty), clutch replaced at 76k miles, the usual tyres and brakes, but nothing more has gone wrong or worn out - oh other than the crappy Nissan leather! Did they give you the option of the extended warranty to cover some of the latter problems?
  12. Unfortunately its not a well known thing the Bird View nav. No one really knows if you can just update it from other discs from cars in the same range or if the Zed is special in any way. Only the dealers really know and they will take your eyes out with their prices. Most opt for aftermarket nav which is better and more up to date, and also easily upgradable. Thats why you wont get many answers
  13. That'd be one hell of a sight, maybe we should try at Wales
  14. If it were me, I'd be chasing Scotsure to see when they thought they gave CS authority to strip the box, and would want the recording of that conversation to prove it. My guess (and it is a best logical guess), is they somehow gave Mitz authority to do the strip down on his original call, but not authority to do any more. They are using that fact as a get out clause to say that work had commenced, and now your claim is invalid. Very poor service if you ask me. If work had started, then fair enough, reject your claim, but as the car hadnt even been to the garage for work, that is very very poor behaviour from Scotsure. As I say, I would be chasing up for a recording or the dialogue of that call to prove it was given.
  15. Good info Alex, thanks for posting
  16. Is he single? must be old tho Vik, is it worth it? Shes probably hoping he wont last long and she inherits it all
  17. I think you both need to be requesting the dialogue, recordings and any other info from Scotsure on any conversations regarding yourselfs and the claim respectively. Due to Data protection and freedom of information act, they have to hand over any information (albeit for a nominal fee). This is the only way you will be able to work out what has happened, not only from this end but also at Scotsure. Aside to that, when exaclty have Scotsure told either of you they gave CS formal authority to carry out work? I am led to beleive that CS has only made one phone call according to Scotsure's records, and this was prior to CS getting John to call them as they wouldnt warrant the work. There seems to be a big hole here, where Scotsure seem to be hinging everything on the fact that CS had authority to work when CS have no recollection of it or it in writing. I am supprised Scotsure have not told John the exact date/time when they gave authorisation - in my mind this would make things a lot clearer.
  18. Its a right sod finding somewhere good to take my car these days. Tesco's in 24hr, and all the good industrial estates have 24/7 security
  19. Good work buddy, look forward to seeing it progress
  20. Think you got the wrong date Chris Or are you just after a good spot? Might be waiting a while! Nice pic
  21. I dont dispute that you are owed the money but Andrew had no control over the funds. He tried to pay back everyone he could until he was then locked out as the business was closed. I am not saying you arent deserving of the money back, you just have to realise it wasnt Andrew personally that screwed people over.
  22. Good to see the oldies remember where we are still. Got any new shirts recently?
  23. +1 check the condition of them and make sure they are tight. Even if they are tight, if there is any moisture around them, they can slip anyway. Tightening them will likely be the fix though.
