Like many of these things its down to the man who turns up as to how good they are. Chips Away are exactly the same. My old local one was fab, I get on with the couple that used to run it and now they do alloy repairs and what not as the guy who did it hurt his back so cant do car paint work any more but can do wheels fine. However, I have heard stories of other Chips Away that are mortifying. I guess you dont really know what they will be like until you try them though. I for one only use MyAlloys for my wheel/tyre work now as I know they take more love and care of them than I do!

Ahh... ...I have then successfully completed my initiation into idiocy!! you can however use google to do your searching as its much more powerful, just put wwww.350z-uk.com in the search with what you want like this You can search 3 letter strings using a wildcard (*) at the end. But you cant add extra wildcards to do 2 letters. e.g. *LS* doesnt work, but LS2* does. Just use it sparingly as I think it stresses the server a bit as the search string isnt indexed

If you have a new car, when ideally would you do the first oil change? In the US, it seems they do them after maybe 1,000 miles, but Nissan just say to leave it in til the first service at 9,000. Is it ok to leave the oil in there that long or should you change it out sooner? Break in acording to Nissan is 1,200 miles. I know a few chaps around here are looking at or have acquired 370z's so would be good to know

Wouldnt bother with a car cover, it will still be damaged through it potentially, and will just draw attention to it and they will probably try and rip it off Where is the car parked? If its private properly, stick up a CCTV camera from Maplins and a sign to say you are recording, should stop them sharpish
