  1. +1 Is there any sound deadening in the head liner Dan? If not that might explain why even if you sound deaden the boot and doors, the cabin is still pretty noisy with wind noise!
  2. Just have to keep wiggling it. They can be quite hard to get off the spline if they are tight, as Alex says, you need to get the right angle.
  3. I was thinking the same about that evo No chance of catching them Yup, you just have to hope you catch them off boost
  4. Evo Looks good for a tenna, we should be seeing some good vids from Wales
  5. +1 had mine this morning too Meeting will be at the Premiere Inn at 7am I think, the details were a bit further back in the thread. Will wait for Mart to confirm thats still the plan before I tell my +1 how early she has to get up
  6. Wouldnt expect anything less Dan
  7. I beg to differ Dont look like the UK OEM ones, maybe they were an option? Also someone needs their handbrake adjusting
  8. Dont worry, the doctors will have given him his meds by now
  9. Dont even bother trying to get through to senior management, they wont care. 1 person is what as a percentage of total UK sales for Nissan? Diddly squat! They dont care what you think, you've already bought the car. Best you can do is ask around for good garages and get the stuff you need doing at a good inderpendant and save a ton on not going to the dealer. Thats how you hurt Nissan now, dont give them any more business
  10. Get your flame suit on if you are entering my350z
  11. As you are planning to do Y-pipe and HFCs, hold off on the reflash until then
  12. Damn, shame I'm missing that, would have loved to have met him.
  13. I think the thing you will struggle with trying to space the stock Brembos out is getting a disc that has the right size contact patch to match the pads. As the discs get bigger, the expected pads/contact patch are bigger too, unless you flook it and find some discs with the right PCD and contact area to suit. I think you will be struggling though. As Bennet suggest, cut your losses and get a BBK from K-sport if you want them for looks. If you want them for performance, personally I'd stick with the Brembos and get some decent discs and pads.
  14. Fitted was £1,700 My new clutch and fly cost ~£800 inc fitting from CS on here. Although you have had a pants experience in general with Nissan, I hope you have learnt the importance of signing up to owners clubs
  15. Doesnt happen in first or third at similar speeds or revs? Its an odd one for sure. Maybe check all the clips on the intake pipe are secure, as I know if air can get in after the MAF sensor that can cause funny things to happen.
  16. Yeah I know what you mean Nix, it is a PITA at times. Not a lot we can do about it though, just have to hope members dont abuse it.
  17. Of lime funnily enough Andy is a good lad, he'll sort you out some stuff. Just be careful, it all adds up when you have a "while I'm here" moment.

  21. He did mention a shiney new 370z might persuade him
  22. Always start with the least agressive and work your way up, you can always remove more clear coat, but you cant put it back if you remove too much. Saying that, SSR1 applied by hand will likely not do a lot as its not too agressive. SSR2 will do a good job though. SSR2.5 is quite agressive, even by hand, so can be good for more major corrections, but in all honesty, if you cant really feel them with a finger nail, try Dodo Lime Prime, its great for a pre-wax clean too when you give the car a good detail.
  23. I agree, it wont be warped discs. 2 options are pad build up (look for pad shaped marks on the discs) or DTV. If pad build up then bedding in the brakes again should remove it. If its DTV then you need to get them skimmed. Obviously when you fit the discs you need to check the RO and skim them accordingly otherwise it will lead to DTV. You shouldnt have any DTV when the discs are new otherwise you have some really poorly made discs!
  24. Bah, needs to be right proper Yorkshire tea and choccie digestives or custard cremes, non of this poncy stuff I tell ya
