  4. Quite a lot of forums dont accept AOL as a long time ago they were used widely by spammers. Most places that bill customers based on email addresses dont accept AOL or Hotmail these days either.
  5. I wish my mortgage was that small My mate with a similar house is paying twice that as interest only!
  6. Also remember to bring your other half. Dont think of these things as geeks in a car park for hours. We are very much a sociable bunch, and bring the other halfs to all the meets, so there are always others to speak to who arent hardcore dedicated to the cause. We have a good diverse mix of members, from all ages and all backgrounds, and its always nice to put faces to the guys and gals we talk to all day on here
  7. Damn, forgot, sorr Topped up his food for now
  8. That interesting, the Sainsbury Super stuff is 97 Ron I believe so jot quite as bad as bog standard stuff, my mpg compares with what others get on here and I had good results at Abbey so it will do for me... 97RON will be fine, close enough to what it expects. You may find its a bit over 97RON anyway. Technically 99RON is a little better as it can advance timing ever so slightly, but no a lot. I definately notice it pretty much straight away when I have had to put a full tank of 95RON in. Doesnt take it long to detect knock and wind back the timing. On the flip side, it does take a while to notice the difference going up to 99RON from 95RON as it will take a while to advance the timing as it doesnt know its 99RON, it just keeps going until it detects knock. As thats quite slow, you dont really notice the difference in the "bum dyno" of using 99RON, just in MPG, but if you ever drop back down, you do notice it pretty quickly. Texaco fuel made my car have a fit, really didnt like that, and I only put a tenna in when it was desperate (DTE on ----)
  9. Supprised it didnt run out quicker than that, bet Alex's doesnt take half as long
  10. Think you'll find you can. Dont they stop them in high winds? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3FZtmlHwcA
  11. Mapped for 98RON as standard (as indicated in the filler flap). You can run on 95RON but will loose power and MPG. Best to run it on 98RON if you can
  12. My last fill up when the light came on and DTE was zero (well it dissapeared about 20 miles from empty to ****), was £93. If I pushed it too far past zero DTE, I wouldnt be able to use pay at pump at Tesco as it has a limit of £99!
  13. You sure about that? That would mean that you and the company are attracting tax/NICs on top of that payment, which I doubt the company will be too happy to pay. I know a few people that used to "forget" when they went over the allowance and still claim the higher rate and didnt have to pay tax as they didnt declare it, but thats technically illegal
  14. WHAT?!?!?! What's that about bud? Just a company thing? Thats the government standard. Dont know what its officially called, but after 10k miles a year, they recommend that you only get paid 25p/mile I'll give it a google EDIT: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/travel.htm
  15. Think im managing about 25p a mile (Done a few work miles these past few weeks) My 40p a mile STILL doesn't cover fuel, Road Tax, wear and tear, servicing etc.... Well no, but I'm happy for now that it covers my petrol and a bit of wear and tear. I took on an expensive car so I have to pay for some of the running costs. Just grateful that I dont have to pay for the fuel for now. When it drops to 25p/mile after 10k miles, I might not be so happy
  16. I've been averaging £90 a fillup for the past few weeks Still works out about 22p/mile and I get 40p from work, so its covering it for now.
  17. Problem is Chris - with that big opening, theres more than enough room for wind to whip in and carry that thing away. No matter how heavy it is, with potential to catch wind like that, it needs bolting down. Although if you had, it might be missing a roof now
  18. 370z is certainly a much happier chappy being tweaked than the 350z
  19. ^^What he said. You dont want standard leccy tape, its self amalgamating stuff you want, wrap it up nice and tight to stop water getting in
  20. Yes they've all been made AFAIK - hence why you cant order one new from your dealer. NMGB confirmed to me that there are 151 registered in the UK.
  21. Looking good bud Are you getting TGM to give you a hand with stuff too?
  22. I'm in IT and I hate to get asked to do free IT related tasks, I'm sure it's the same as a graphic designer S'ok, we have an in house graphic guru anyway
  23. Can I have a V12 Vantage too Dave? Just messing with you matey, if I had an UY Zed for weekends, I highly doubt I would have got the 370z. The only reason I did was mine was fast approaching 100k miles and just didnt feel as good as it once did. Sure I could have replaced all sorts and put it back to normal, but doing the miles I do, I also wanted the uprated interior and the 7AT just sold it to me as its so stress free going to and from work now. Different horse for different courses as they say
