  1. Great stuff. Also can you map 2 cars in a single Saturday? We might be having a *ahem* "team meeting" at Abbey With a certain yellow car Sure we can find some cake and biscuits to keep Mark happy

  3. Roll on April (next time I get some dosh) - then I will definately be paying a visit, all in time for the Wales run How much notice do you need Mark to book in for a Saturday in April?
  4. +1 - any VAG or BMW Diesel are pretty good choices. All can be remapped to give better MPG and power/torque. Just remember you're not in the Zed when you get to the corners
  5. Yeah dont pay dealer prices for this kind of work. DIY or get an inderpendant to do it, at least its then ~£50/hr labour and not nearer £100/hr!
  6. I think a lot of peoples problems come down to heat managment/airflow. My old Netgear used to lock up a bit and it was horizontal on a shelf. Since moving house, we have it attached to the wall vertically and never had a problem with it. Runs much cooler now.
  7. Looks like a hyped up 370z. The problem with it is, although 150miles is a reasonable day to day range, I couldnt make it to the Wales run in one go, nor could we get around the route in a day as you'd have to recharge at lunch
  8. No there is some logic in there. Basically when running the engine in the last thing you want to do it nanny it and keep it at low load and low revs. You want to work it through a range of loads and revs working up to high load at high revs. Depending on which school of though you sign up dictates when you should do this. As engines are bench tested from the factory, I see no problem in taking a car up to redline almost straight away as long as the engine oil is nice and warm (90C)
  9. Netgear have never failed me, but some people hate them. We currently have their Wireless-N to go along with our 40mbs connection and it holds up just fine Have you got your ISP to do a line check Stew? Are you sure its the router? Most good ISPs will send you out a loan router to check the problem.
  10. No no no, theres a new queen in town - Stormhorse
  11. Couple of pics in different light for ya to see the colour
  12. The red looks stunning in real life. I have dibs on AK's when he sells it
  13. Have you tried ringing Moreton to see what is avaiable still? Yes please ring them, dont trust status on here or their website, we have reserved rooms that dont show other places. If it is full there are other places you can stay but Moreton is the best place to be
  14. Good work Jez. I noticed fitting a kit to my old MY03 Zed that it did make a noticable difference when pulling away and idling, but no real difference other than that. We did notice a few years back that some cars had good grounding and some were pants. Its pot luck what you get. Some see no difference from grounding kits and some see good differences. You just dont know til you fit one Nice to see some science applied to it though, when I got mine it was a case of just listening to the car and seeing what happened on the butt dyno. Good to see it proved that when it does work, it makes a measurable difference.
  15. 370z Anyway you're not allowed to sell your 350z, its too nice. Sell it to me when you're ready, I'll take it and the plate for the right price
  16. The only one I can see listed is over £1k For £300 though, go treat yourself. Will transfer nicely when you get a 370z too
  17. Can see why Fran fell for you now matey
  18. Always a shame when you get them welded as they dont sound as good! Just have to upgrade to a new shiney one
  19. Lookin good Posted this thread up to our FaceBook page and your link to FB so hopefully you'll get some more "likes"
  20. Wish people did that on the motorway - no more phantom traffic jams The amount of people that pelt it as fast as they can to the hit a queue of cars and slam their brakes on makes me furious
  21. +1. Driving style, throttle controller, and a remap. And make sure your tyres are correctly inflated. +1 Definately driving style! Driving style for me too. And its free!
  22. Few pics of mine here - viewtopic.php?f=70&t=37082
