Bike silencer wont flow anywhere near as much gas as you'll need. The biggest bikes are 1200CC+ and have dual silencers. Cant see it working as a single I'm afraid. It looks like the pipework on the current one may be too small for a single, Ians was much fatter.
LEDs dont look as good as silver indicator bulbs as you can see the LED themselves and whatever they are mounted too. If you get good LED bulbs they should have resistors to compensate for the lowered resistance of LEDs.
Seen chaps in the States run them. Give similar gains to Nismo intakes and Pop chargers, which is next to nothing really, and can actually loose you power. They will sound good though
2.5 sounds high? I would do the idle air learning that will sort the idle out, maybe give the throttle body a clean too.
+1 - should be around 1.5k cold and 80P0RPM when warm. Do an ECU/throttle/idle air reset (all available with a quick Google) and see if that sorts it.
You are screwed only doing 5miles each time though, the engine isnt nearly warm in that time, you're lucky to get over 20MPG.
Kestrel and Dodo DA (both the same thing) are as good as the Megs, Dodo does have a nice Dodo bag though. My Kestrel has been faultless. Tim@Envy supplies them
Good work bud. You are a sod to be able to just jump on a hire bike and go ride stuff like that
Oh and arent those discs centre-lock? You undo the lockring (much like on a cassette) and it will come off. Doubt its rivited to the hub
Actually, AG SRP works quite well via DA, but it is very dusty. Personally I'd stick with Lime Prime as that has some cut to it, the same as SRP, and then use a decent wax on top (Dodo Supernatural), topped up with Dodo Red Mist
Make sure you all post it up on FaceBook and other forums that you know of that might have been effected. Link them to here and it will be all over Google
Good to see this solved. I'm guessing its some emmissions thing and they've slightly remapped it to give off less CO2 which means it has a little bit less headline power. Engine will still be the same, and UpRev will get you the same results
Yes but that doesnt mean those advertising them actually have them You'd have to contact whoever is offering the deal and see if they have one. My bet is they dont and when you ask, they will then remove the ads. They wont realise that they are limited edition and just have them advertised assuming they can get hold of one.
Are they actually available though? Or have they just not realised that they cant get them any more? Either they will remove them from the site when they realise they cant get them, or they have already bought some and have them in stock?
NMGB assured me that the UKs allocation of Black Editions were all registered and no longer available to order via Nissan.
Kestrel DA6/Dodo DA or Megs DA, all are good.
As Dan says DA is the way to go for learning, theres no reason you should need a proper rotary polisher unless you have some serious experience, especially with Zed paint
None of the aforementioned exhausts will drone - they are all very similar designs really - not some cheapy knock off straight through jobs which sound aweful cruising. The Zed on the motorway is under very little load and quite low revs, so all is well
VVEL seems such a simple idea when you understand it, I didnt know why more people havent used it in engines before. Thats until I saw it in action and thought how fast it has to work, its very impressive stuff!
VVEL will play most part in this IMO. Besides that the 370z engine isnt much different to being a big 350z HR engine from what I understand. BUT the 370z has 2 sets of cats, and aftermarket exhausts remove these, so make the engine much free-er flowing. The ECU is also adaptive but in a good way, unlike the 350z.
I think part of it is its just better designed to produce more power and de-tuned to get it work better in different climates and meeting various emissions rules. Which once tuned means you get all the power back that it was first designed to deliver - as at stock they run very rich for some reason.
shhhhhhh! (thery're already here)
Not with 370z's their not - yet. Will be a while for 370z to drop in value enough to be chavvy Or is this in the wrong section?
Do they go on the primary socket or the secondary? That is if the router is plugged into a secondary socket ?
I used to know all this stuff 10 years ago.
It (the face plate) replaces the master socket from BT. It has a built in microfilter which is far superior to the ones used in those supplied with routers. On the front it has sockets for phone and router, but it also (crucially) has IDC terminals on the back where you can run the dedicated ADSL and phone lines seperately to other sockets. So by using this at the master socket and router at a second, the line is split into phone and ADSL signals much sooner, which means you get an even better SNR on the line

Having just had Infinity (aka Fibre to the cabinet) enabled in my home, BT have also switched over to this standard of having the filter built into the master socket (they replaced mine with their new one).
