Interesting you say that Alex as when I first saw this thread it made me think that not all countries have super unleaded and I have wondered whether exports to those places would have meant Nissan catered for that in the ECU settings? And that said, I have never seen what fuel labels are put on other countries cars.

If you've got the space for a car sized one then you've pretty much got the space for a proper garage. Wouldn't need planning permission for it, as its not a permanent structure. Wrong , even an awning needs permission A commercial awning also needs building regulations so as to make sure it doesn't fall on somebody's head.. A awning on a private residence doesn't..!! (maybe it depends on which Counsel you are dealing with).. Check with your local Council - planning rules can be complex. Being a ex-planner it never ceased to amaze me the various interpretations that can be made from one local authority to another and a lot depends just whereabouts on the house it would be sited and what local controls may have taken away normal permitted rights normally expected. Listening to that second vid at the engine bay it does sound as though there is an unusual amount of intake noise, but that could just be your recording. Providing the exhaust is not blowing anywhere - particularly at the flexi joints, (which you will find out on Monday) I wonder if one of those large puddles you drove through has got into the intake and/or it is now not 'baffling' the intake as it should? Unlikely, particuarly if you have the standard intake as shown in your link thread but I'm clutching a bit at straws to try to help you: Not much help, but maybe a couple of things to check first

You are supposed to be using super unleaded. States it in the manual and inside the fuel filler cap. It does amaze me just how many times the question is asked about the correct RON to be used when it is clearly stated in the filler cap as well as the manual - that is 98 RON (or better). It then follows on why so many engines do not last as they should, by mizers saving a few quid (or pence even) on each fill-up. 350: 370:

+1 - can be checked by turning the wheel slightly to see the full impression of the pad of just do a little drive and and slow to a stop without using the brakes and check then.

I remember the first time we met at Horsham and thought there was no way someone as tall as you would last for long in a ZED, but survive you did and good to hear you have made a sensible decision as I really do miss ZED ownership. I hope my next car will give me a similar buzz as well as being a bit more family focused.........
