  1. +1 a disappointing race really - best viewing for me was the Top Gear later and you have to hand it to Vettel now he has shown is the quickest GP driver in a reasonably priced car where in theroy they should all be on a level playing field...err I mean track.
  2. I didn't do anything in the end until the next time though
  3. It's like having overgrown toe nails I can smell them from here! Reminds me or a certain tennis player's comment: "MAN......YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS" But some great pics guys
  4. Do you know what the update specs actually include - i.e. do/will they have speed camera locations? I presume the ability to search by post codes for those with pre-connect premium sat navs, remains unavailable? Thanks
  5. I bet the syncro rev is on full time now and you are seeing your mpg go down But these are not in short supply, eh It is amazing how much a decent exhaust system on a 370 transforms the car. Far more so than in the case of the 350's when a good aftermarket exhaust is added in place of a stock 350 exhaust because at least the UK OEM system is pretty good to start with.
  6. If it splits into two 6' 6" sections - no problems - have done that when I went freshwater fishing (a few years back now )
  7. Man after my own heart there - didn't know you were as old as me
  8. Good call Will - see here: viewtopic.php?f=93&t=51455
  9. They really did look good viewtopic.php?f=53&t=7011&hilit=seats&start=0
  10. Thanks for sharing - great pics my kind of road
  11. amazing
  12. A regular question answers to help on here by a search - here is one: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=48683&hilit=models&start=0
  13. Wow, was that by a blood or breath test
  14. It was Zurgara who suggested painting some tipex on the level portion of the dipstick to help the reading - about two thirds down on this page viewtopic.php?f=9&t=42408&hilit=dipstick+reading&start=0 No idea if it works but....
  15. As you have the uprev engine, (and speaking from past experience of one) you are right to carefully check the engine oil regularly as they are known to burn oil (rings issue). No problem while the oil consumption is low but as Neil says I known ZED issue if oil levels get too low. I'm sure I saw a post some while back about smearing something on the awful dipsticks (now resolved with the HR engines) to help read the oil level - maybe wishful thinking
  16. Navtech is £159 compared to £40 for the sat-navs website 'back-up' product.....hence the price, no doubt
  17. Try EH 370z on here with a pm as he from a Nissan dealership
  18. Thanks for the link - getting it checked with a Nissan contact. Access to the DVD is behind the cubby behind the driver's seat, but as yet I have not tugged hard enough (it seems) to pull the cubby out to get access without fear of breaking clips or something.
  19. I used to get it bad in my teens/twenties (sneezing and most anooying the itchy eyes) and in the end went to the quack. I was sent to a clinic where there put various pollen/dust samples on your arm to see what reacts. Was then prescribed a course of injections over the winter period (about once a month) with the concoction to deal with the ones I had reacted to and touch wood I have never really suffered since - just mild symptons. I remember the first summer after those injections it was a revelation not to have to carry around pockets full of tissues http://www.webmd.boots.com/allergies/gu ... -treatment Might be worth a try as from my experience it has certainly given me a better quality of life given this year is quite bad and I have no adverse effects to speak of
  20. I would be interested in the answer as well........
  21. I'm sure the same was said of many of the 'massed produced' ones on here when they were relatively young http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.s ... oodpreview Colin, you can't compare Ferrari F40's and classic Aston Martins, to mass produced Nissans, of which there are ten's of thousands of teenagers in America alone, driving them around as their first cars!!! It's a good car, yes, but let's not get short sighted here. No issue with your F40/AM selection but when you look at the numbers of 911e's; mustangs and 280sl's made then the 350 when compared to its present day rivals and will be seen as a great value for money driver's car. And if thousands of teenagers are using them as first cars that will help to ensure numbers are decimated. Anyway, someone on here has to bang the drum for our little number

    Sat Nav

Not having the Premium Connect in my 370 the sat nav is similar (if not the same) as the last generation 350's. No Post Codes but it quickly recognizes the town then street you are after and you pin point place in the road easily. But obviously not as quick as if it had the post code functionality. But I use it largely for the 350z-uk drives we do, where post codes are in the main not known. Has got me round the routes (leading and with no passenger) so far without fail although the 5 way-point limitation means the longer all day drives have to be split in two. I also find the split screen/ birds eye views when you approach junctions/roundabouts very accurate. Yep, the paper map is now rarely used so my +1 is redundant
