  1. well said Quite why so many cyclists act like a law unto themselves on the road is actually very worrying for motorists. They should be bound by the highway code like everyone else who uses a public highway. And given the amount of money spent specifically catering for cyclists who contribute absolutely nothing for their pleasure or needs, when motorists are being increasingly hit in the pocket....... And don't give me the sustainable transport crap as justification for being let off payments as the vast majority of those who provide the hard work and wealth for this country, and when competing in the world economy, would not be able to carry on doing so if they were required to use the extremely limited and inadequate so called carbon friendly transport alternatives available.
  2. And HD Looked uber cool - but did anyone else think that girl shouldnt be building a supercar? I know plenty of other girls that know exactly how brakes work, and understand that actually, if any of the bolts need doing up properly, its not the handbrake I'd be worried about, but perhaps the main brake calliper bolts Maybe thats why they got her to do the handbrake (thats a joke before the girls start ) I thought at 19 she was quite good in the knowledge stakes and it was refreshing to see Mclaren do not require graduates for every job they have there. I hadn't appreciated before the full extent of the production planned, and carried out in difficult financial times so there must be plenty of oil barons and the like around for Ron not to have moth-balled the build.
  3. No link or piccy? Can you post up a pic of your front bumper? In fact some pics of your generally would be good as I see you have not done that yet

  7. There are roads that go to Newcastle, not the end of the earth And just think of the great drive back you will have once you bought it Get up there on Nat Express for the price of a burger, or two
  8. Welcome to the forum Unfortunately the 313's that came out in 2007 were not produced in Azure - they changed to midnight blue which is a much darker shade - nice but completely different. The 'sunset 'orange was also superceded in favour of 'temper' at the same time but as you don't want orange - end of
  9. Corrected that for you To me its not even a choice, you have to get it done to give the car the voice it deserves. I know a lot of people think it will make it chavvy and loud, but stock its just so quiet. It just makes it a nice level, quiet when cruising and around town at low revs and a nice bit of bark when giving it beans Thanks Chris The only criticism, and this is just purely a personal choice, is the tips, too shiney for me, but hey, it's all about the sound, now the second thing that is a MUST, HFC's I love the shiney tips How much difference to sound and performance do the HFCs make? You are on the rocky road now You would get more of both, but would need an uprev to maximise the performance - by how much on a 370 I can't answer.
  10. At least we are singing from the same hymn sheet No 'resistors' this time then

  16. And IF it could be raised you ought to think about some improved heat shielding as we all know the cabin gets warm enough as it is from the exhaust

    nice video

Bloody hell, I welled up watching that...........
  18. Not good vibes - 2 years with potentially no service and an owner who has not bothered to fully check or know very much about the car. I would move on........... sorry
  19. For what it is worth, in the 6 years I have been involved with the 350/370s, reported problems with the diffs are extremely rare and espcially at the relatively low mileage yours has done. Two matching tyres (ideally 4) are certainly the first thing to try. Just a little thought though given the fact you have two different tyres on the rear. Maybe one side of the car has hit a kerb in the past (not unknown ) and that has damaged a bearing so check for any play/noise when you get the rear jacked up. I would also recommend a wheel alignment - that and a good set of tyres are crtical for best perfomance as the ZEDs are sensitive to these being neglected.
  20. Photo-chromic. I am obliged, m'lady
  21. If you get a pair 'free' - then sunglasses? Mine cost the sort of money you have paid and have the tinting thingy when you go outside, but I don't like it really as even when it is not sunny they tint and makes the 'eye contact' when talking to people difficult for them. And not as good as true sunglasses anyway So next time I renew, no tints but a pukka sunglasses as a second pair with the full prescription.
