  1. Parts on Ebay and make you fortune Chris
  2. No doubt there is going to be a big demise in retail shopping due to th internet, aided and abetted by property owners and Councils' charging silly money for rent and rates. In fact Council's ought to be paying motorists to part in town nowadays to bring in custom and retailers need to look very seriously at their pricing - interesting to see that John Lewis are one of the few retailers alive to the rapid change in consumer spending: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-20889604
  3. At least i would feature on that list Colin  after me no doubt
  4. Perhaps in this PC age we ought to have one for the most disliked member - wat ya fink BBK as you started this thread
  5. Does not work in the UK - they thought it was so cold over here we would not want the windows down More seriously, it is something those the over the pond enjoy, but I and others have checked whether it can be 'switched on' and NissanUK have said not - I suspect the alarm set up to meet the Thatcham 1 requirement may have something to do with it. But we do get a foglight as standard that the Yanks don't get
  6. Left in the CD?
  7. Absolutely fine Did you not know though that it was designed by a dipstick who clearly had not bothered to check how difficult it would be to get a clear reading of the oil level
  8. It certainly was not daft and we have seen an awful lot of long-term members on here not emptying theirs so you were in good company
  9. Go to view all messages. tick the little square boxes on the right hand side of those you wish to delete. tick the delete option at the bottom and you will get "are you sure" etc and hey presto
  10. Not surprised the handling is naff but the absence of the strut bar could not have helped - it's not on your list?
  11. er, what car are you using if your porker is sold? Nice trip BTW - ideal for a ZED
  12. Yes, if your budget allows and having the opportunity to experience both pre (276bhp) & post rev-up (296bhp) 350s But your heart (and pocket) might say 350 and absolutely nothing wrong if that is your choice. If I had a garage I may still have a 350 but it would have been a HR engined version, knowing what can be done power-wise with those on standard internals
  13. Feel for you and also roddymcleantattooer : http://www.350z-uk.c...mcleantattooer/ Dig a bit of a history search on here. No doubt this is not an uncommon issue and invariably crops up when the weather gets colder and has generally been put down to the mechansim seizing and having cleared the problem and a regrease that appears to have solved the problems, although sadly the feedback from those having the problem about how they sorted it has been poor.............. Something I feel we need to encourage more. Moving on.......those that did say how they got in is the way ZMANALEX has shown, although bent coathangers have also done the necessary Jixaman provided the best answer: http://www.350z-uk.c...hl__+door +lock This guide showing the door handle removal and have quality pics of how it works might help: http://www.350z-uk.c...hl__+door +lock And this excellent guide by SteveW relating to the electric window repair guide, but also has some good info and visuals to hopefully help you through what is what and how to do some of the removal and replacement: Electric window repair guide.pdf Hope that helps you and roddymcleantattooer and PLEASE do let us know how you got on resolving the problem as you certainlt are not the first and will certainly not be the last

  17. Absolutely......that's just made me feel a whole lot older now lol
  18. Or, if you have patience: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=55272
  19. The oil business does have its perks when racing teams visiting various racing tracks need the products, is my guess.
  20. I can see the question coming now: How many miles have you done Sir, only I can't help noticing the tyres are down to the canvas
  21. A little bit of detective work on the thread should answer that question
  22. That's more than a noisey bearing that is a common issue and nothing to worry about. With the mileage your ZED has covered it maybe a worn flywheel/clutch.
  23. I have a bad feeling it wouldn't pass - restricted egress in an emergency, aside from the which a tester may refuse to clamber around. Best to give the MOT station a call. See Chris'I's post above with the links that hopefully will help sort out the door issue.
  24. Trust you still got the dipstick tied back clear of the belt
