  1. ffs if only my rx8 had sold. had a couple of offers but they're slightly below what i'm willing to let it go for!
  2. Congratulations with the sale mate! Shame you had to drop the price because it's definitely worth more. Well done to the buyer, you grabbed a BARGAIN!
  3. God damn, if only my car had sold! The styling of this is right up my street.
  4. Both stunning cars! Definitely something that I'd be interested in but unfortunately I'm relying on funds from the sale of my car so can't offer anything serious until that's gone! Hopefully that'll be in the next couple of weeks. Cheers
  5. I've decided to do the swap... My car is now up for sale, shame it's impossible to sell at the moment :/ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140905230311 Hopefully I'll be able to join the 350z club as an owner within the month : )
  6. Hey, I'm a young and VERY new driver but was insistent upon having a nice/fast/rwd first car. The only car I could get insured on was an RX8 R3 so I bought it literally a week before passing my test. Insured it instantly through Aviva and got an amazing price, especially considering I have an 'M' postcode. To cut a long story short, nobody would insure me on a 350z but I kept checking each month if I could change the car on my current policy only to be disappointed and not provided with a quote. On my first year driving anniversary I tried again and got a quote that I was happy with, even though it's a hike from the cost of insuring myself on the R3. Anyway... if you are struggling to insure yourself and need a years experience on a 200BHP plus, RWD car then the RX8 is an option for a year and you can pick a regular model up very cheap these days. I personally hope you find a nice quote for a 350z though. Good luck!
  7. Hi there, I'm currently in the process of selling my RX8 R3 and am looking to buy a 350z once it's gone, preferably in the next three weeks but as we all know it's hard to sell at this time of year. I will consider any age and any colour but the car must have done below 50k miles. The age doesn't bother me as long as it's been cared for, has a spotless interior and has NEVER been smoked in. As a relatively new and young driver I'd like to stay with my current insurer who don't insure imports unfortunately so they are out of the question. Tastefully lowered, widened cars with a spoiler are of interest to me. My budget is approximately £7,000 but I will stretch for the right car. I have scoured through forums, autotrader, pistonheads, ebay and gumtree and so far only a couple have caught my eye. Can I tempt any of you owners club members to put your cars up for sale? Regards Danny
  8. No worries! I'm selling my car at the moment so can't make a serious commitment until it's gone anyway. Hoping it's gone within the next two weeks.
  9. No price to sell? I'd be interested in purchasing at the correct price. Regards Dan
  10. Damn, "member cannot currently receive messages" I am really interested in the car. Has it been smoked in? Any info on the current condition of the tyres all round? Could you provide pictures of the bubbling on the wheels? Thanks in advance and have a safe trip. Danny
  11. Hi there, I currently own a Crystal White Pearlescent R3 that's only got 20k on the clock. It was my first ever car and I bought it knowing full well about it's poor fuel consumption and high tax costs. The reason I still went for it was because it was the only fast(ish) car that I could get insured on as a first car. All I can say about it is, what a dream first car for anybody. I've loved every second of driving it but it's still disheartening knowing how much I'm spending on fuel every month. Because I'm mainly city driving to and from work I'm averaging around 16mpg and it costs £90 to fill the tank (with v-power.) I am considering moving over to a 350z for the slightly better fuel consumption, but how much better is it? I see sellers saying they average up to 28mpg but I'd love an honest answer from someone not trying to sell me a car. My outgoings on the RX8 are as follows: Monthly fuel costs: £180 5Litres of Dexelia 5w30 every quarter: £40 Tax per year paid every 6months: £522.50 Insurance Monthly: £135.00 Total per year: £4462.50 (this isn't including servicing, mot and tyres.) Will the savings in fuel, oil and tax outweigh the £80 per month rise in insurance to move over to a 350z? Also there is the temptation of the extra cash I'd have in my hand from selling the RX8 as it's current worth is around the £10,500 mark. Kind Regards Danny
