  1. Yep that's what I got with Whackywill's suggestion so that is a waste of time Edit: And yes it even manages to turn the square box into a diamond (sent from the PC now)
  2. For what its worth I share your frustration - trouble is I fear I may have been a culprit
  3. Would be much easier for those of us who use computers because we have to, rather than those whose work centers around their use, if the bloody software would be consistent.......
  4. You have to type the code version on an iPad such as : stir: (but without the space in between the : and s) Yes, but to be fair Jim we are not all computer geeks that can or want to remember the various codes and I often see 'codes' posted on here that must be wrong because they do not show the actual smiley (like those who try and put them in thread headings which will not work)
  5. Yes, but the smilies do not show up on the ipad for posting if using Internet Explorer, but you can see them used by others. So does anyone who uses an ipad use something else that allows the use of smilies?
  6. Duplicate thread deleted and Oakley's post ^^^^^ moved to this original thread. Does seem there is a bit of a glich with tapatalk posting multiple posts.
  7. Some pics here of the situation near to Pete http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-21910737
  8. Can catch up here: http://www.youtube.com/wrc There is some great coverage and comparison vids between drivers and nice to see someone other than Loeb is winning these days and in a VW Polo! Be good if does come back onto mainstream TV though
  9. I hope that's sarcasm...you have a roadster!!! You have 50million miles of headroom Not for our Will at 6' 7"
  10. Going from bad to worse for you - just hope you make use of those fallen trees to keep warm. Really trust your situation has been moved up the list of priorities by the emergency services
  11. Its one of the things that made me buy my first ZED in 2005, was the kit it came with as standard - far better than any other cars of that era, but there again its that, reliability and value for money where the Japs have scored since the 70's. Think I am right in saying the Jap home market did include a heated front screen as an option - so yes, that would be a box ticked for me had that been an option when I bought my last 350 and the 370
  12. It's called fashion Colin My nuts will be red soon to match my calipers in due course just for you. I'm surprised your nuts are still serviceable after your recent comment to me
  13. I don't think the blue lip works and I always feel its a shame when the nuts clash - too much going on. Would be helped if the Brembos were in matching blue - see glrnet's and spursmaddave's Azures
  14. Yes, that is what the OP said and I could see - "similar" but not the "same".
  15. Pinned this now and can we ask any 370 owner has had the lock replaced please add their name to the list as the it was the recorded numbers in the US that led to the recall there so the more ammunition we can muster on here the better
  16. From what ChrisS has told me the local young lads take the opportunity to use their quads to get around in these situations and the police turn a a bit of blind eye given they are helping stranded homeowners out - any chance of that around your way? Hope it is not too long before you and Caroline can get back to normal, but not too promising at the moment from the sounds of it Just stay warm an safe as like me, you are no spring chicken
  17. Good to hear your lubing experience has done the trick Dave
  18. Done Interesting what you say about Tapatalk as I've noticed even one of the Admin team who uses that often has duplicate posts appearing so some gremlins in there somewhere it seems
  19. All coming together very nicely Peter So are you going to get some red harnesses? If only for the passenger
  20. This issue is becoming increasingly all too common - sorry to hear that Will, and given the warranty expiring might be best to get Aldershot Nissan to see if they can get the fix done beforehand? It seems the problem is for all 370's up to late 2010 models See here for the fuse that needs to be removed - just make sure the ignition is switched to accessory mode if you do remove the fuse. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66701-car-wont-start-steering-lock-issue/
  21. Moved from the 370 sub forum
  22. It should be, but look out for late 06 facelifts (296 bhp model) being sold with 08 or newer plates as they remained unsold when the HR engined ZEDs (309 bhp/31/3ps)) were introduced in in late 2006/early 2007. We have seen some caught out by that and dealers selling and not knowing (allegedly )
  23. This thread is going to be locked now as the seller has come forward but (a) is not a signed up trader and ( does not have a 100 quality posts as a member to sell. It would be unfair to others who would like to sell without meeting the forum rules, to let this continue thread continue. If anyone does have further interest in the car there is enough information to make contact with minde_smile.
  24. He might have to chop your strut brace into two to get it in his oven
  25. plonker! here you go to start with: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68929-cheap-castrol-edge-5w302398-4-litres/ but do a search there is a wide choice of brands/prices Opie oils is good source
