  1. its like the cheryl tweedy of the car world, most people think she's sexy, and both are highly strung, high pitched and whiney doesn't do a lot for me. as for the engine, an F1 inspired turbo'd V8 isn't really going to be a bad move.
  2. DA polishers are fairly idiot proof to be honest, if it was a rotary then yes get pro to do it.
  3. clutch is normal, but if you want me to take a look for you i'm down between ipswich and woodbridge.
  4. Rich, You must live in a leafy backwater village! When you live in birmingham, you NEVER go to bed with the door unlocked i currently live in one of the lowest insurance brackets in the country, the sufoolk police constabulary head quarters are round the corner, its pretty safe round here. we lock up at night etc and our door is pretty solid. but yes sleepy backwater housing springs to mind. i did used to live in coventry in possibly one of the highest insurancve brackets in the country at the time. where you used to dismantle everything in your car, leave the glove box open and empty, and use 2 crook locks. we actually used to leave the cars unlocked. saved them damaging the locks. they could get in see there was nothing to nick and leave the car alone (they weren't the best thiefs, so 2 crook locks were generally enough of a deterant.
  5. thats not good. thing is why should you have to lock your own door, yes it makes sense, but it seems gone are the days you could go to bed with the door unlocked.

    Golf R32

i love the blue that VW use on the R32's
  7. love the front cover and rear cover, and you've got some great shots that show the quality of your work off. only thing i would say is shame the back grounds aren;t a little more interesting on all the other cars. but either way, it shows the quality of your work off really well
  8. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL a company that blames a car for being wonky and not their build quality, something that gets as hot as the manifolds and costs so much to fot and remove i'd want a quality brand in there to make sure its a fit once only job.
  9. or a very sharp chisel and a mallet and you can nip them off that way. but drilling is easiest.
  10. Was already ruined, looks ugly as sin the engine might do it a favour not a fezza fan, appreciate them, but they don't tickle my fancy. its like the old lambo or fezza; scooby or evo etc. i'm a lambo and evo man.
  11. never played the game but that end bit made me laugh
  12. they seem to offer ECU remapping as well, not sure i'd want them playing with my engine maps also tempted to inform hexis, as they seem to be one of their suppliers, not sure they'll want their name branded on their website with workmanship like that.
  13. i'll have to go back and check the P60 for the additional payments. as its gone through PAYE, and they take tax and NI out of it, so maybe i didn't notice, but they must have done SL as well. its only a small amount of about £500 for the year for extra teaching in school etc, but by the time the tax mans had it etc its not even close to that amount
  14. oh dear, what was the company called who did it, couldn't seem to find reference to it on the thread
  15. i earn aditional money for jobs at work, but its put through as a seperate payment almost like a second pay check, i get a p60 for it at the end of the year, and its never been hit with additional SL payments. i think they take a set amount each month calculated by your earnings for the year. they don't look at extras as far as i'm aware.
  16. recently openeo have been the cheapest on some tyres
  17. if its japspeed send it back
  18. you might get a tiny bit of noise, but not really noticable. if you want induction roar, then an induction kit is the way forward.
  19. £11k - £11.5k max and even then i think your being optermistic. i sold my 06 for £13k 2 years ago and that was px'ing in. prices have changed alot since then.
  20. personally i don't think the HKS filter is that good at filtering, but if your going to get a panel filter and your buying from zman, use the cosworth filters, i think they are better. or save up and do the JWT
  21. i've used big boy http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=f ... &_osacat=0 but this is probably better for bumpers, upol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Upol-PLASTX-6 ... 4839bb175c or this 1k stuff might be alright as well, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-body-repa ... 256f272824 depends on how deep they are and how much you are removing?
