Only 1 has RWD which is the tricolore if i remember correctly This is a bog standard Lambo, with 4WD The driver must be an utter tool also the balboni as well as for the plum in the lambo. lack of talent. 4wd doesn't make you invincible under the same conditions the zed should be impossible to stack if the TCS is on, but people on here still manage to spank them. a car is only as good as the person driving it

Did anyone watch this tonight on channel 4 OMFG are some people just stupid? and those women i've seen puddles with more depth

i'm biased but i'd take the jag over the yanks. the new XKR is a 5 litre and 510 bhp and handles very well. 5th gear were usung the XKR-S for setting laptimes at the ring, ok so its not a GTR when it comes to pure track capability, but its no slouch. if it was me with tat budget i'd be looking at the m3 or the porkers.

maxi and I both have/had the old shape XKR, the new shape is alot better reliability wise, its also less wafty and a lot more GT based. honestly go try one i don't think the new ones are as nice looking as the old ones, but it has the bigger engine alot more HP and its very much less of a rust magnet.

Dude, you could run an Evo for 4 years on what a Maserati will cost you for one. My brother has an MR FQ340, it costs him £700 odd a year in servicing and a set of tyres every so often. its fast but its not that fast either what is it about 300 bhp ? with fettling i'm sure it could be increased to silly speeds

Jaguar XK8/XK-R - depends on if its the new shape or the old shape? for that money should be comfortably in to the new shape. personally for a decent move over the zed you need the XKR. the SC makes a huge difference. don't know if you can get a new shape R in that budget though. as for parts and relaiability i have the older one and parts are cheap and plentiful just don;t take it to jag they charge a fortune. find a good independent and its costs are alot more sensible. to get the noise you'll need an exhaust. very quiet in stock form. Porsche 996 Turbo (optimistic) - speak to ekona Maserati 4200gt - gorgeous car, great sounding engine (striaght out of a fezza) will spend more time in the garage than on the road. the older 3200 have lots of issues and very expenisve to keep on the road. Porsche 997 (older 3.4) - speak to ekona Audi S5 (4.2L V8) - love the sleek looks of the car, will be a nice place to be and solid build. should be pretty reliable. would think parts are expensive. Nissan 370z - i don't think you'll find it as much as a jump as you'd hope for. BMW Z4M Coupe - very hard ride, but a great looking car, there was rumour about the longevity of the block due to its construction methods, but not heard any horror stories as yet. Porsche Cayman 3.4S (cheaper 997?) - speak to ekona his brother has the R BMW M3 E92 (chavtastic, but good) - great drivers car, doesn't stand out as much as it could from its smaller engined brothers.

and being that they are the only known set in the UK make them quiet unique as well

i didn;t mind the dash buttons on the centre console, i love the fact that it all lights up in turquoise, looks very nice at night it all just kind of works, but as for problems, yes i am in the process of fixing rust, i have sorted mostof the mechanical issues, and yes i am playing chase the electrical gremlin but for some reason i just don't seem to mind. i like the wood, its not a garish walnut so it doesn't look bad. although i am toying with the idea of painting it in piano black. -

And you still drive an old mans car might be old man but i'd rather have the leaping jaguar on the front and the letters X.K.R on the rear than a nissan burger. i suppose it makes me an old man with oodles class It's still full of ford switchgear Though.... its still a jaguar. the one thing ford did for jag was improve its reliability. -
to be fair neil, i bought 2, kept 1 and sold 1, i contemplated buying 5 or 6 but thought it would be greedy, i have no guilt about selling one for profit as for forum spirit goes, ok i might be a bit low on it with this thread, but there is lots of stuff i do else where on here to help members. i have no leg to stand on with regards to rights and wrongs, but i do feel sarnie and beavis have a point. but there was no stipulation that previous buyers could not enter. and this is why i'm happy i stuck with my original decision

why should I? people wanted to know where to get another from i just posted a link, if people don;t want it thats fine. people are always going to miss out on a deal/bargain. its life. others will always profit from a situation; its called life. at least i know with the auction i won;t have any hassle of the "it's not fair" syndrome some times on this forum your damned if you do and damned if you don't. squee seemed nice enough to put it up on here, but she might start to regret it at this rate. squee you should have joined me on ebay and saved the headache
-
and this is why i didn't offer it/sell it on here, as no matter who it goes to someone will be unhappy. so better i sell it on eBay, and everyone on here is unhappy. but its all equal and fair.
-
i know stew it did go a bit far, but its funny as i bet most of those that complained aren't even on here any more
-
don't worry i feel no remorse

the green rooms what the forum used to be like till the hammer came down from above, they killed alot of the banter off. although of recent times they seem to care less and its started to go back to how it used to be when it was really good. does beg the question was it the content of the post or the person posting it. but to be honest when husky was posting about what he had for breakfast, and what is your favourite dinner etc, you have to draw a line somewhere
-
wow, is that normal, looks like salmon swimming upstream to spawn. do carp do the same?
-
its where all the cool peoples posts get sent that the forum don;t want to show up when people search. basically a forum black hole where they hide their dirty laudry (or miss fit members)
-
you could have a hand built system including HFC's for that price

a nissan is not a very high horse to be looking down from if you have a browse through here there have been a few guys go from zed to ST due to family or running costs etc. some for business reasons. i don't mind the focus, but i'm not a ford fan or a vauxhall person. only ford i would own is a gt40, only vauxhall i'd have would be a VX220 turbo or VX8 and even then i'd rather have the holden badge of the monaro and get an SC based lotus instead of the VX. i can;t really mock ford or vauxhall owners as at the end of the day my first car was a rover -
never knew remus did one for the Zed, knew of them in the MR2 scene, but was a bit quiet compared to others. but they do build good setups.
