if you have a tripod you could do some time lapse photography and then run it as a video. should cut the 3 hour video down to a 2 min clip. -
2005 Nissan 350Z convertible Supercharger and +
rtbiscuit replied to Jamesben66's topic in Performance
from a google search thought it was quiet apt. if it helps my XKR apparently is capable of thats 4 litre V8 and a super charger on top and not alot more weight than the Zed, so if you wanted to push the zed down to the 4.5 sec then you'll need more than 400bhp i qould think the zed would need between 450-500 bhp for the 4.5 sec 0-60. depends in the torque provided etc. once keyser is up and running just liek anders both will have zeds that would probably do about a 4.6 maybe less. you'd need to speak to them. -
around the 300 mark is about the max for a standard NA setup on the 276. alot depends on what you have to start with what you do and who maps it. the big thing is not to look at what the final figure is but what the overall gain is for your car. also NA setups don't gain tons, but it makes a noticable difference to the drive and feel of the car. berks are good, tarmac is a good source.

High Oil Consumption - Ballpark Repair Costs Pleas
rtbiscuit replied to Posidrive's topic in 350Z General
rule of thumb is white smoke usually means water blue smoke usually means oil. -
Just thought I'd better add...I haven't actually tried the carbon wrap from them yet (it's garment vinyl that I get through the company), so I can't comment on the quality of the product but I can vouch for the business as a whole S. I use MDP for sign writing vinyl, they are an easy company to deal with.

before people kick off, I have offered to put £5 in the club kitty if i put the order through for him. don;t want any more people falsely acusing me of something i haven't done and being sensored unfairly

it makes more sense to tax for useage not engine size. i have a big 4 litre V8 but do less than 9000 miles a year. compared to a 2.0 eco car doing 25000 a year. just have a get out clause for lorry drivers to keep their costs down. and if they do that they should wack the tax right up, but scrap VAT on fuel. so those that use the roads most pay the most and those who don't pay less. seems fair to me. instead of taxing the crap out of everyone

well if it makes the team feel better i have not been actively seeking business behind the scenes. i've had a few people PM about stuff 2 of which were mates. another i did at cost. and all the VC stuff i've re directed to the manufacturer with out comission. i have too much on my plate at the moment, and those that have asked for stuff have waited weeks for it as i don't physically have the time. i'm in exam season at the moment and up to my eyeballs in assessment and marking. come july when i get close to the summer holidays i'll crank it up and bring some new stuff to the forum, but at the same time i'll pay the traders fee's. basically between jan and jun i rapidly start to go off the radar as the work piles up. easter to jun is the worst period.
-
see i understand that chris and appreciate the straight answer; just would have been nice to have got a PM or a heads up before hand. instead of browsing a post and seeing ,y name blanked out of threads. at 2 am after working hard all night was a bit crap to find that when browsing before bed.

i personally like the saabs over the volvos

No ones contacted me; so as you say its not come back to me, and no i've had no issue with the trading fee, but as i wasn't really trading i didn't see the point of paying fro something i wasn't using? when i was ready to trade again i was going to pay again.
-
I have no issue with the £25 traders fee i didn't renew it recently as i was winding the business down while the busy period of my day job kicked in. i had plans of introducing some new products; once ready i was going to re register, pay the fee's etc and renew trading. during this down period i was accutly aware that i was not a paid up trader so made sure not to advertise myself on any posts or via PM. from memory i think i contacted 2 traders to see if they wanted to buy my old stock for their own use as i wasn't continueing down a particular route. I have had a few pms from people, all the velocity stack stuff i forwarded people on to an alternative source and i took no financial gain from this. i think there has been 1 person who wanted some vinyl which i sourced at cost price for them as i wasn't trading (so basically did it as a forum favour) and i think i've cut decals for 2 friends who happen to be members on here. and turned a few more down as well. I don't see why the heat is being turned on me; i followed the rules i don't feel i should have to explain my self business wise but i'm open enough to do so. if your going to sensor 3rd party businesses it should be all of them not just the ones you don't like. its funny as a business i never had any self inflated appreciation thread, i never ripped anyone off or didi shoddy work, and never had any customer satisfaction issues. i've never had complaints and i've always put the customer first. I 've never held the forum to ransom or threatened to trade else where unless i got my own way. i have always put the other members first before myself or profit. I've enjoyed bringing and sharing new ideas and tackling new challenges. and alot of the time i've done it with someone slagging it off. ( for reference fiddy with the likwid art, bennet with club logos, others moaning abotu vinyl not being real carbon etc etc etc) yes it feels like i get singled out, it feels like there is varying continuity some of the time

i spoke to chris I a while back and i agreed with the reason behind removing my sales posts even though P15ULT's were only ever locked. and to be honest i don't mind to much about that. but its the being sensored that i find rude.

Thanks neil. its not the first time either that posts related to me have been "vetted" i posted some info on a member who had arch rollers that could help another member and my post was deleted. no comment, no feedback, no note to say anything had happened.

wow lexx will you also be going through everyones posts and editing out links to ebay, halfords, and other sites for buying parts? yes at the moment i am currently not trading on the forum, hence why it seems some mods took down my banners, deleted my posts and removed all exsistance in what can only be described as hussain bolt speed. as far as i was aware not being a trader meant no self advertising or promotion of any products or sales. and i have been very careful not to do this. i have offered advise and pointed people in the direction of reccomended products but never once put myself forward as a supplier; out of respect for the forum. if your to delete out traders who do not pay traders fee's on here should it not be the same for all such as all the links to ebay, halfords, US parts sites etc. I had taken a break from trading on here while i worked on a new range of products and was planning on re joining the ranks of trader on here and paying the correct fee etc once the items were ready for dispatch. but yet again i feel singled out by certain members of the mod team for one reason or another, its great to feel welcome even after 4 years on here. well thank you and **** you too

warranty companies sell very expensive toilet paper, because all they are good for is wiping your ass with them when something goes wrong. to give you an example Husky had a warranty, he thought it was gold plated he had a few issues etc needed a new gearbox etc and a few others. they ended up giving him £250 and that was a struggle and he then had to find over 6k for all new bits etc. look at privates, they are good, just keep in mind the old saying "buyer beware" that means you need to ask lots of questions.

i remember seeing the starts of this in Uni, girls going out for a free night getting guys to buy their drinks for them, one of my flat mates she sued to come back with more cash than she went out with. you could spot them a mile away, and when the question came "do you want to buy me a drink?" my reply was usually on the lines of " do you want to suck my %&*£ ?" lol cos nothing comes for free baby
