  1. if a bodyshop are doing it for you then its fairly easy, the difficult bit is lining them up in the right place.
  2. i love watching the water bead off a clean car, especially if it has really good wax on it.
  3. mine should be at home when i get back tonight
  4. martin you're such a wheel whore very nice though
  5. I don't shave very often, and when i do its with my beard trimmer with the head off. i only wet shave round my beard for big meetings and special occasions. which means when i shave if i go against the grain it can get sore. just done a search and its clinique i use not clinic need to check which one though as i don't think it is the "happy" might be the post shave healer. i'll check tonight stew, but its very good.
  6. i like the look of the hanging strops, but those japanese water stones are very good, if a little pricey. think i'll start disposable first then move on to sharpening blades. i'd had to try and learn with a blunt blade
  7. the zeds a great GT car, its comfortable has a good engine for cruising with plenty for over taking, it has good looks, a nice sound, has a bit of heritage to it etc. you can go and have some fun on the track with it, and then drive it home. it is good value for money but it isn't the most awesome car ever. the zed strikes a good balance over alot of areas with only small compromises. other cars which are out and out sports car do somethings alot better but make bigger sacrifices in other areas. at the end of the day if you like it; get it.
  8. This is my favourite looking straight blade but i think i might start off with one of these as there is a lot of prep work in keeping a straight blade razor sharp. already have a badger brush. but will keep with my current gel, and the clinic happy is very soothing. as has been said before hot face makes a lot of difference. i usually shave straight after a shower. and its better to use cold water to shave in, it should be hot face cold shaving water, cold water on face after shave, and then moisturise.
  9. i like the look of those shavette's the normal single blades are bloody expensive
  10. do you shave with the grain or against it? i can't go against the grain as like you i have sensitive skin and it bleeds lots. not tried a single blade, as i have a beard and usually use a trimmer to do most work, but the best blade i use is the gillette mach 3. tried load sof others and they either clog up or blunt easy. i've always wanted to have a cut throat razor for shaving but never got round to buying one. i use nivea shaving gel (sensitive skin version) and clinic happy after shaving balm (i think its called that, smells of oranges)
  11. you have to remember that your asking this question on a 350Z forum, your not going to get lots of people turn round and say, "yes we're all a bunch of raging homo's" to put this in perspective for those in slight denial the large influx of female members on the forum of recent times. this doesn't make it a girls car, but its curves do seem to attract ladies with good taste. I would say it is a slightly girly car in its shape, but i wouldn't say its a girls car. but as RWD cars go its a very safe option, with the TCS and other gadgets its nigh on impossible to do something stupid in it (unless you turn it off) so although it has 276 bhp its a very useable car. my wife liked the zed more than i did to be honest. and there are several people on here, even though its there missus car. and as for the S2000 its a better driving car than the 350Z an dif i still had my old one i would quiet happily have wooped your arse round snetterton
  12. i'd be straight on the phone to tarmac, if its in the states he can get it for you at a sensible price.
  13. i've got postal tracking details so i'm guessing they're in the post one for the wife and one to sell.
  14. he has one of these and this is what it looked like last night when he was clsoe too 200 mph
  15. got the dispatched email, which means they've honoured the price
  16. nice riposte rt In fencing, the riposte (French for "retort") is an offensive action with the intent of hitting one's opponent, made by the fencer who has just parried an ATTAK. touche my french and my fencing terms are pretty good
  17. the other 10% is just pure class
  18. Nah I have a speedboat that does 300PMH.... That is made mostly of wood too mines not made of wood; its 10% metal 10% plastic £10% wood and 70% rust
  19. SMD i know its just cos your jealous that my XKR does 250MPH
  20. love all the people calling troll and custard test, when only 2 weeks ago the bloke was posting pics of his car up and asking wheel advise, showing them on and off the car. i think ChrisS just posted a link to the blokes PB account. ok so i don't agree with the blokes driving style; and i'm not 100% certain his speedo is accurate; but there seems to be so many just waiting to pounce. looks like we're heading the way of my350z.com
